Dasey stories are getting VERY numerous and cliche nowadays and I really need some Demilys to keep me afloat...
Stereotypes against C/M shippers

WE ARE NOT STUPID! We just happen to see things differently, that's all! I was on this website the other day and it was ABSOLUTELY FULL of stereotypes, blantantly and obviously implying that we're stupid. I'm working on a C/M fic and I read a bunch of them and I like to think I'm not a total and complete drooling idiot. But that's just me.

Come on. Seriously. Jake's an egomaniac who thinks WAY too much about himself. In fact, if he's dating anyone, it's himself. Now, now, I'm not trashing him, or supporters of Jiley. Good writers who can write Jake in-character can write fantastic Jiley fics that are worth reading. But writers who make him sound like a poetic and loving, knight in shining armor, i'll-lay-down-my-life-for-Miley type guy... well, they just aren't good writers. In those stories, I'm afraid he's incredibly OOC. I'm not trashing this couple because that would be contradicting my little pasting (see below), I'm just explaining my opinions. Jake and Miley have this great little love-hate thing going on that is an awesome oppertunity for a thousand fics. But when I see fics that portray Jake as sacrificing himself for the love of Miley, vice versa, etc...well, that's just disgusting. But I've got to stick to my promise (again, see below) so I'm not going to run to the nearest Jiley fic and flame it. Everything I have to say against is it written here.
