ALL RISE, THE PROFILE IS NOW IS SESSION:

Updated! For Reals This Time! (Updated tentatively)

I understand that I've been gone a while, almost two years if I recall, but I need a dose of reality. I'm just about twenty-two now, and for the last 14 months I've been gainfully employed selling shoes at a major department store. Two things I've learned from this job:

1. Department store customers are way better than convenience store customers. When I worked at the 7-Eleven, it seemed like every other person I served was a total jerk. But people in the department stores are much cooler. Must have something to do with the environment.

2. Women become different people while shopping for shoes. I don't know what it is, but put a bunch of shoes around women, and their personalities do a total 180. It's awesome.

Finally, I wanted to extend special thanks to some very special groups of people.

To the whole gang at Sucker Punch, thanks for creating such an awesome game series, which spawned my inspiration to begin writing my fanfictions.

To everyone who read Nightingale23's "Secret Bloodlines", (which I coauthored), thanks for all the hits and the reviews. Your awesome responses are what kept us going with it. I hope you'll all continue with me as I write its sequel "I Am Jack's Island Mind".

To awesome fanfiction author Noa Lyn, thanks to your original SC works back in '06, I was motivated to bring my stories to a wider audience. Those stories were classics, whether you believe it or not. You flat-out rock.

Last, and probably most importantly, I want to thank another author on this site: Kit. Man, your stories are amazing. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say you're the best fanfic writer...ever...of all time. Your stories were the reason I got back into writing. I don't know how they eluded me all this time, but last week I read them all twice through, and I felt like pure awesome. Hurry up and get published, because I would totally buy two or three copies of whatever you'd write. Kit, if you're reading this, thank you.

Now for the old profile stuff:

Okay, here's the deal. My name is the Invincible. Well, okay, it isn't really that ( it would be really cool if it was) but I'm kind of a mixed breed. I can be your best friend or your worst enemy. It all depends on how I see you. And I will not mince words: I have a VERY low tolerance for stupidity. Kinda makes you wonder why I joined this particular site, but what can I tell you, I like writing, a lot. Moreover, I really enjoy using a style of writing that many would consider unusual. I happen to have very eclectic tastes. Consider my masterpiece:

Secret Bloodlines: This Sly Cooper fanfiction is my crowning achievement. (5000+ hits, very proud of this.) It's finally finished after almost two years of work, and I'm just as satisfied with it now as I was then. This is by far the most popular story that I've created. (I've written most of it, but my girlfriend gets the author credit because it was her idea originally. I'm nice like that. That and I didn't have an actual pen name at the time of the original post.)

Solo Projects (Completed):

Pretty Sly: A little Sly Cooper parody I wrote set to the tune of that classic song by The Offspring. Like most of the song parodies I write, there wasn't a lot of thought going into this one. I'm still happy with the way it comes out. You may get a little chuckle out of it, I guess.

Projects I'm Also Working On:

I Am Jack's Island Mind:

The return of this long-awaited sequel is in full swing now. Expect regular updates at least once a month, at most every six weeks. I may need to write a better summary, though. For those in the know, (there may only be two or three of you) the 'separation' may not occur until close to the end. So to those who've read it, thanks for reading. And everyone else, go ahead and read it. Please? I'll be your best friend.

"S... matters. Even if we can't figure it out. Even if we are ruled by devils. Even if my days don't mean anything. I just hope I die while hugging, and not while in a wine-drinking contest."
