Seven years and I'm still here.

Fanfic is awesome. That's what my time here has taught me. People are awesome and innovative and cool, and when they apply their imagination and insights and questions to works they already love, well-- you've all seen the magic that can come from that. And also crap. Mostly crap. Sturgeon's Law.

That said, while much fanfiction is -- like anything else-- absolute shit, there are an astounding number of works that are THE shit. (As doubtless you know, oh imagined reader of this profile.) My self-enforced mission on this website is to find the good ones in my chosen fandoms and, you know, cherish them forever.

As for me myself: I am a Taurus, Scorpio Ascendant; my favorite color is green; I like cooking, crochet, and small fuzzy dogs. I'm currently a student; I have ambitions of becoming a published author. While I don't write fanfiction, I'm neck-deep in original work right now and am thoroughly enjoying it.

I am always happy to provide recs-- caveat: I don't tend to do canon pairings-- so PM me if you'd like a list for Supernatural, Harry Potter, or any of the other fandoms you see heavily represented in my C2 or faves list. (I am active at other sites, too, so I've got quite a collection of good links outside of what you see here.) PM me if you're interested! Alternatively I am always looking for reccommendations myself-- if you've got a story you ABSOLUTELY ADORE, no matter what genre or fandom, I would love it if you'd take the time to send it my way.
