ABOUT ME:
I'm 21 years old and live in Alaska, USA. I enjoy reading, writing, and the arts but I have many other interests as well. I'm currently a college freshman in a homeschool correspondence program and I enjoy it a lot. It's a lot of work, but it's fun as well. If there's ever any questions or comments you have for me, then feel free to contact me. Right now all my stories are pretty short, but I hope to write more soon, which will hopefully be longer as well. I have lots of work to do, so it all depends on when I feel like taking a break and writing for fun. I have an account on fictionpress as well, under the same username. I'm using that account as my homepage until my actual homepage is built, so feel free to go check out my original work as well. You can also contact me on ICQ (219088103), Yahoo! (Tiffak1986), or LiveJournal (olympianlady).
CURRENT PROJECTS:
I'm currently working on a new Harry Potter story, but I want to at least get several chapters written and revised before posting. So it'll take a while. I'm also planning on new poetry versions of 'Othello' and 'Macbeth' but I need to re-read the plays and do the writing. It could take quite a while, depending how smoothly they flow for me. I hope to eventually have most of the plays of Shakespeare posted in poetry form. At least I'm making progress towards adding new stories, I've been absent from writing for too long.
Also, Chibikan has kindly given me permission to write my own versions of her 'Desperate Measures' and 'To Err is Human' stories. So, I'll be publishing those on this site soon as well. I've edited her original 'Desperate Measures' chapters to the way I want them in my version and posted them already, and I'm currently working on writing my first fully original chapter for the story. I'm also working on writing a new original chapter of 'To Err is Human' before posting that story as well. Thank you Chibikan!
A PROMISE:
Please note that I do NOT abandon stories. That's a major pet peeve of mine, and I've sworn to myself never to do that. If I post a story, you can be sure that it will eventually be finished so long as I have anything to say about it. I may get writer's block, or a temporarily busy schedule, but I WILL finish what I start. I will also do my best to keep my readers informed of any delays.
I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.
Re-post this if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it.
BTW: Posting this does not mean I'm a lesbian! I am an ally to the LGBTQ community.

If you could read that put it in your profile!
You know you live in 2008 when...
1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave.
2.) You haven't played solitaire with real cards for years.
3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they don't have a screen name or MySpace.
4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV.
6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job.
7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling.
8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all of your friends.
9.) And you were too busy to notice number 5.
10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5.
11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly.
12.) Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did.
