Author has written 10 stories for Doctor Who. I was introduced to Doctor Who in 2006, about the time "Fear Her" first aired. My favorite series is 2006's, but I love the whole series. Although, we could do without "Love and Monsters." I live in Orlando, Florida, and am not ashamed to admit I'm an American who spends a healthy amount of time musing over the tenth regeneration of a British cultural icon. Doctor Who has spurred my creativity, especially in the form of writing and painting (see my Homepage). While I've written other bits of fics, I've not published more than a couple and come up with so many starts until the Doctor and Rose inspired me so. I'm a slow and perfectionist writer, but I invite you to enjoy the fruits of what I've managed to wrestle into completion so far. If you like my style, alert me, and maybe I'll come up with something else you'll find worth reading, and you'll get a surprise one day in your mailbox. =P If it isn't obvious, I'm pretty much centered on TenRose fiction. I also seem to have a penchant for creatures, telepathy, and captivity... “A kiss is a lovely trick, designed by nature, to stop speech when words become superfluous.” – Ingrid Bergman The following quotes are copy/pasted from WhoMe-2's profile page, because I can't think of any words supporting the love between the Doctor and Rose that I would want to share with you more than those straight from those responsible for creating it in the first place and the lucky people involved right in the middle of it. “From the moment they meet, the Doctor and Rose are soul mates. They understand and complement each other.”– Russell T Davies “What Rose brings to the Doctor’s life is completion. It’s completing a circle – he’s male, he’s alien, he’s a traveler. Between the two of them together they complement each other and discover each other. And are in love with each other – absolutely, unashamedly, unreservedly.”– Russell T Davies “It’s a love story…it’s like love at first sight, in a way.”– Christopher Eccleston “The Doctor is literally thrown into this bizarre new circumstance before he's properly gotten himself together after saying farewell to Rose, who was the love of his life.”– David Tennant “I think Rose was unique in the sense that she loved him and he loved her back. And it was more than just a hint, it was deeply emotional.”– Freema Agyeman “The Doctor and Rose love each other. I think it's that simple.”– Euros Lyn “She’s the one woman, the one human, that can make him better – that can make him a bigger character, a better man.”– Julie Gardner “From first holding the Doctor’s hand to a farewell on a beach, Rose is the Doctor’s reason to fight, to endure, to ensure there’s light in the darkness. Together they can achieve anything. As Episode 9 describes it, they are the stuff of legends.”– Julie Gardner “Obviously and quite overtly, really, the subtext of this show is that the Doctor is hopelessly in love with Rose.” – Steven Moffat UPDATE 11/11/11: Effigermus Chapter I released! (whew, finally) Don't forget to check my deviantArt (homepage) for the cover art. It will be embellished later and will be updated here when it is. UPDATE 11/20/11: Effigermus Section 1 complete and posted. I also just came up with the Time Lord ECG for my scene divider: --W-- (The first two tones of the heartbeat are the "W" and the last two are the following two carets. I spent WAY too long studying and hypothesizing this... but I finally simplified it and couldn't pass up the "W") UPDATE 11/22/11: Effigermus cover art complete! It took me a long time, but I'm quite happy with it. I hope it complements your reading experience, and if you feel inclined, let me know just how much. _ UPDATE 12/11/11: 11th Chapter posted after one month of publishing. I hope you're all enjoying the story. Teaspoon will be caught up with FF this Saturday, 12/17. Chapter 15 will be ready Christmas Eve, and then there will be a holiday hiatus in posting until January. UPDATE 1/10/12: Posting resumed, basically the finale set. Enjoy. _ UPDATE: 1/16/12: Effigermus complete. Thank you all for your encouragement! A sequel is planned, but not for some time. For now, one-shots will be released sporadically. Oh and enjoy "Pear-Shaped" (apparently hyphens can't be in story titles... *grumbles*), a co-authored one-shot with WhoMe-2. We had a great time writing back and forth, and that's what came of it. UPDATE: 3/05/12: Two of two parts of "Crossing Over" published. It's been too long since I've written properly! The sequel to Effigermus will come, I promise. I just can't promise when. =P I've been occupied with creating the Tenth Doctor in Second Life, learning more about modeling, texturing, and animation. If you're interested in seeing any of my work, feel free to PM me. | |||||||||
