I'm a twenty-one year old recent college graduate, and I have no major plans for the rest of my life, apart from a general idea of pursuing graduate study in cultural studies or English...somewhere. Right now, my time is spent teaching (not fun) and seeking gainful full-time employment (not working well so far) as I prepare for the grad school application process. I have a serious obsession with Grey's Anatomy, and I like chocolate, the color blue, Meredith and Derek, What Not to Wear, pretty sweaters, Patrick Dempsey, and good books. I like knowing a little about everything and a lot about some things, which means that I'm full of trivial, largely useless bits of information. I'm new to writing, at least in the sense of sharing it with people (I have journals full of ten years' worth of writing, most of which is completely unacceptable for public consumption), and I'm still learning. I welcome constructive criticism, but have no use for flames.

I live with a very spoiled tortoiseshell cat (hence the penname) and her canine sister, a Shepherd/Labrador mix with other undetermined influences. I made it through my final semester of college writing papers about Grey's Anatomy and Patrick Dempsey. It was a fun time.

My current project is One Step Back to You, my version of season 4 after 4.11. It originally began as a one-shot after 4.04, and then I made the decision to continue it. The original plan was to have one "chapter" for each episode between 4.04 and 4.11, and then take off from there, but life happened and I didn't catch up to 4.11 before the writer's strike ended. As a result, there are about five unpublished, unedited segments hanging out on my hard drive, which may or may not see the light of day again, and the second installment of One Step begins at 4.11.
