I am Pauline, a 24-year-old Canadian-born Chinese. I go by two online aliases, Misty or Toshina. I became a huge anime fan after school one day at the age of 10 when Sailor Moon was being played on TV. Since then, I have been mildly addicted. I was introduced and sought many other anime titles over the years, and eventually discovered that I am also a manga fan.

I enjoy reading moreso than watching so my manga collection and have-reads are exponentially larger. I am also a huge fan of crime mysteries and romance novels, though my bookshelf is dominated with the former, primarily the In Death series by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts), my favourite author.

I like to spend my time online blogging, shopping, web surfing, and web/graphic designing. Fanfiction writing is a hobby that I have recently picked up. I have been visiting FF.net on a regular basis for the past decade, mainly for Dragonball Z romances (my favourite pairings are Bulma x Vegeta and Pan x Trunks). For the longest time, I was an anonymous reader, but soon I was asking myself, 'why not write one of your own?'. I have always wanted to give fanfic writing a try, and now seems to be the best time.

I started with a short one-shot Card Captor Sakura romance. I actually began writing that piece when I was about 18 or 19 and never finished it. I realized that if I am going to get into the whole fanfic writing business, finishing my first project would be a great place to start. So I finished A Christmas Wish just right before Christmas 2008. I didn't try to edit anything from the original script (other than editorial errors like grammar); therefore, it is not exactly in the best shape. I plan to use my first fanfic as a baseline to compare my improvement as time moves on.

I have started on a second fanfic, Because of You, a Pan x Trunks romance epic. I only have the first three chapters planned out tentatively in my mind, so I have no idea where it is going. For all I know, the summary could change in a heartbeat depending on the course it takes. In the meantime, please be kind, but do not hesitate to give me your most honest constructive criticism and suggestions in your reviews.
