Author has written 22 stories for Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Batman the Animated Series, Justice League, O'Grady, and Total Drama Island. Penname: Touch of Violet (but you can call me Violet) I'm pregnant. So. I'm allowed to be a lazy bum when it comes to updating. That's the rule. Also, grammatical mistakes and generally bad writing are ok too. Yep. I guess I started writing fan fiction about 11 years ago (which makes me either really old, or I started writing at a really young age). The first stories I wrote were Pokemon/Harry Potter crossovers with my friend, Shannon. I’d like to tell you that we just went through a weird pre-teen phase and only wrote one or two of those crossover stories, but we were writing them together for years, and we only stopped because she went away to college and I stayed back in the hometown. Some of those stories (two of them) are hidden on this site somewhere and if you can find them (because they are not under this name) they are really, really, REALLY hilarious. I like to think that my writing has improved since then, but truth be told, I’m still writing for the same reasons: to take the fictional character that I probably have a crush on (Hello, Brock from Pokemon and Wally West from the Justice League) and make them do whatever I feel like making them do. One thing that upsets me in the whole realm of fan fiction is that people reading fan fiction will actually tell a writer that what they’ve written would “never happen.” I think that is one of the oddest things to say to someone, especially when it is said like a bad thing. Of course the fan fiction will never happen. It’s fan fiction. It isn’t cannon, and no matter how hard the writer tries, it will never be cannon. So enjoy it for what it’s worth (something written by a fan to serve that fan’s own imagination) and stop complaining that it isn’t cannon. Otherwise, I love that there is a site like ff.n, so that a person like me, who actually takes the time to write stories focused on a franchise and characters that I love, can post those stories for other fans to read and offer constructive criticism. Not only do we get to write about the things we love, we can become better writers while doing it! And, yeah, that’s pretty awesome. But I really do like this story and I really do know where I'm going with it. It's just ... the putting down part. And the, me being sooooo very lazy. 9/23 - Chapter two is 80 percent complete!
