(UPDATE: 08/23/2008)

Well. It's been...well, forever.

I know no excuse will satisfy. I really have none that should be satisfying...it's quite inexcusable. But I'll offer three big reasons.

1: College. The Time-Devourer. Full-time terms (in other words, at least 15 credit hours for me). Doesn't leave as much room as I'd like...though, in real life terms, I'll be out of college sooner rather than later (look at it this way: I started at college in Fall 2006. Only two years later, in the Fall 2008 term, I'm already a Senior. Not too shabby, if I must say). Fortunately, this semester has a lot more cut-and-dry work (only Math and History courses. Woo), so I should be able to partition my time more efficiently. But who knows.

2: Other stories. Not mine...but the work of other fanfic writers. Anyone who's paid attention to my profile will notice my Favorites list has grown...quite a bit. There's just a lot of good material out there. And I look forward to each and every update. Also, this stems to the manga world as well, experimenting in new series...most of them being over a hundred chapters long...eh, what can you do.

3: Writer's Block. The most IRRITATING one of all, and personally baffling. For my FFX-3 readers: it took me a month-and-a-half to write out the ‘Council of Al Bhed Affairs' part (and it was all in one burst), and it took me another month to get past the VARUNA FIEND'S DESCRIPTION (I know, utterly mind-boggling). Just now, over the past few days, I've done over TEN PAGES of material. It feels good...I'll certainly say that. But it was just so infuriating.

I think another big reason is that I was away for so long that I got off-track of the story development. It wasn't much of an issue where I had the opportunity to stick to one update for a different story every week or so, being able to update all three stories (Naruto, Digimon, and Final Fantasy) within a month's span...but now? Not so much.

As I pen the next chapters for each tale, I'm going to reread my stories. The Zero 2 Saga up to its current point, Naruto: Legacy, Final Fantasy X-3: Dreams and Nightmares...the big three. I'm going to try to get back on track.

My sincerest apologies to all of you for making you wait so long.

Now that I've finished Zero 2, I might as well put a bunch of stuff on my bio that explains a bit!

~The Story~

Were you dissatisfied with Season 02 of Digimon? Thought the final battle blew chunks? Thought Demon and Dragomon got the shaft? Well look no further! Zero 2: A Revision is my revision of the second season of the Digimon anime. New plotlines, new villains, new powers, new Digimon, and original characters that AREN'T cliche!

~Heroes of Zero 2~

The New Digidestined: Comprised of Davis Motomiya, Yolei Inoue, Cody Hida, TK Takaishi, Kari Kamiya, and Ken Ichijouji (after episode 22). Their partners are, respectively, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Patamon, Gatomon, and Wormmon.

The Old Digidestined: Comprised of Tai Kamiya, Matt Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Mimi Tachikawa, Izzy Izumi, and Joe Kido. Their partners are, respectively, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Palmon, Tentomon, and Gomamon.

Shaun: An ally. He is amysterious character who knows quite a bit about the Digidestined...and he has a strange knack at being prepared for many of the challenges thrown at the New Digidestined. However, as time goes on, he is horrified to see things going differently than he planned them too...and he becomes just as helpless as the Digidestined when facing the new challenges wrought upon them. His true identity is revealed in episode 38, and soare his motives for helping the Digidestined in the first place. His partner is (Agumon).

Gennai: An ally. He is the last surviving member of the Order, the group that created the Crests, the tags, and the digivices for the Old Digidestined. Gennai is personally responsible for creating the D-3s for Davis, Yolei, and Cody. As a member of the Order, he is imbued with special knowledge and talents that allow him to create unique programs to manipulate data. He can also set Digiport coordinates manually via wires surgically implanted into his body.

The Guardian Beasts: The four Digimon tasked with the protection of the Digital World, but were sealed away by the Dark Masters. Azulongmon is freed in episode 56, with Zhuqiaomon, Baithumon, and Xuanwumon following up in episode 60.

Siara: She is the Messenger of the Guardian Beasts; she was created from their Digicores, and her power is synonymous with the Light. Asa result, she can possess Kari. She is the same spirit who possessed Kari four years ago on Spiral Mountain. She is first seen in episode 33.

Leomon: A valiant and noble Champion Digimon. He is adept at hand-to-hand and close quarters combat. He also seems to know Shaun and (Agumon).

Piximon: A wise and powerful Ultimate Digimon. He is a teacher of martial arts and he follows a strict disciplinary philosophy. He is the one who trained Leomon. He also seems to know Shaun and (Agumon).

~Villains of Zero 2~

The Digimon Emperor: When he was under the control of darkness, Ken terrified the Digital World as the Digimon Emperor. He enslaved Digimon all over and conquered most of the continent Server. Had the New Digidestined not intervened, he would've moved on to the other three continents: Folder, Desktop, and Backdrop. He is introduced in episode 1, and is finished off in episode 22. However, he still makes appearances as a force that haunts Ken, as well as in flashbacks.

Terminator Units: Special androids built by the Emperor to safeguard his first base. They are introduced and destroyed in episode 18.

Alienmon: A failed experiment by the Emperor. Alienmon was the first Digimon created artificially, but the Ultimate Digimon went rogue. The Emperor froze him inside his first base and left him for dead. The Digidestined inadvertently release Alienmon in episode 18, but the creature is eaten by Whamon (an old friend of the Digidestined)in the same episode.

Chimeramon: Determined to succeed, the Emperor creates this Ultimate Digimon using the data of Skullgreymon, Birdramon, Garurumon, Togemon, Ikkakumon, Kabuterimon, Angemon, Angewomon, (Greymon), and Devimon. However, he too went rogue, only to be defeated by Magnamon. He was introduced in episode 19, and was destroyed in episode 21.

UmbraDevimon: Devimon fused his own body with the data of Chimeramon, which had been sealed inside an orb after his battle with Magnamon. Devimon then became UmbraDevimon, a mighty Mega Digimon who increased in power as the Digidestined's partners digivolved to higher levels. He also created Arukenimon and Mummymon, his two faithful servants. He also used his Black Gears to corrupt the Emperor's Control Spires, turning them into Dark Obelisks. He is introduced in episode 23, but he is destroyed in episode 57.

Dragomon: The Lord of the Dark Ocean. Although an Ultimate Digimon, he is a being of incomparable strength. He desires Kari Kamiya, because he wants to merge their bodies together. In doing so, he would become the master of both light and darkness. He has failed to do so, however. He was introduced in episode 15, and he has not been destroyed as of yet.

As for the other villains, the other characters, and the other stuff...well, you'll just have to read the story, won't you? ;)

~The Battle of the Shinobi~

Shurimon fought three foes in the third story of Zero 2.

Ninjamon: Master of ninjutsu, wielder of a katana, and user of the shadow arts.

Taijamon: Master of taijutsu, muscular man, and user of the physical arts.

Genjamon: Master of genjutsu, shadowy wraith, and user of the illusionary arts.

Combined, they are one tough team.

These are the Teenage Wolves!

Matt Ishida: Self-explanatory. Lead singer and guitarist.

Yutaka Chuu: A calm, collected individual. Backup singer and bass guitarist.

Akira Youhei: Seeming juvenile delinquent with a bit of a mean streak. Drummer.

Takashi Koudo: A shy video gamer. Keyboard player and sound technician.
