Author has written 47 stories for Naruto. Fanfiction Writer’s Meme 1. How about a brief introduction of yourself? ...How about not? 2. Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with? Back in the day it was Tokyo Mew Mew on paper in my math notebook. Then it was Yu-Gi-Oh role-playing with my friends, but I didn't ever actually write anything seriously until I got hooked on the Naruto craze. 3. I see, so what kind of fanfiction do you like to write? I like the kind with a central female character who is highly desired by one or more men. A reverse harem if you will. Why? I don't know, and I do no care. I like it and I'm going to keep pursuing it. But Sakura multi is my favorite right now. 4. Do you write the same pairings/characters? Or are you a fandom whore? Sort of. Um, Sakura is and will always be the person I write about, but the people she is paired with can be anyone from Gaara to Itachi to Pein to my version of Madara. I like trying my hand at different couplings. 5. What is your most popular fanfic and why do you think people like it so? That would either be Mad House, a oneshot with over 200 review, and Pages of Ecstasy, a story with over 1,000 reviews. Both are Sakura multi, but POE is funny and crack filled while Mad House is lime filled with (hot) crazies in a farmhouse. If I knew why they were both so popular I would be doing things differently, but I honestly don't know why. 6. Forget other people, what is the fanfic you’ve written that you’re most proud of? It depends on when you ask me. I was really proud of the idea I got for Nightmarish as well as Of Monsters and Men. In terms of originality, those two rank because I'm proud of my ability to come up with the setting and story for those pieces. But I really like Mad House, cause it is a freaking beast of length that really surprised me, as well as My Uchiha Harem, which was my first major oneshot that spanned more than 10,000 words in one single chapter. I think I'm only proud of a handful of my stories, Dance with the Devil, being one of them, but I can't just pick one. 7. Do you find writing easy? Hard? What are the most difficult aspects of writing you struggle with? Muse...if I don't have it I don't write, and you might not know this, but Muse is not easy to find. 8. Write a few sentences or so of your favourite pairing or character. "I'm taking you out for dinner, love!" "...Madara it's 3 in the morning, what are you doing?" "I just got off my shift and I wanted to see you." " Haha, that's so funny. I just got off my shift too, but I want to sleep, goodnight." "No, Sakura don't shut the door in my face like that!" 9. Are there any fanfiction trends/clichés you can’t stand or are just sick of? The overwhelming amount of Nauto/Sasuke stories. 10. Are you guilty of any of the fanfiction trends/clichés you now hate? Or are there any other ones? You tell me. 11. What was the first fandom you wrote for? Do you still like/participate in it? Naruto was the first real fandom for me and, yes, I am still participating in it. 12. Name your OTPs or most frequently written pairings/characters and explain what it is about them that you love to write. Sakura and Madara has sort of overtaken my writing for some reason. The character Mandara in the manga/anime of Naruto is not a character I like at all, but for some reason I started writing him with this wholly new character of giddy, obsessive, cheesiness that likes to call Sakura 'love' all the time. Itachi is another favorite of mine, but he is more like a default pairing in my mind, unless I am writing in the Naruto world. in other news, I am starting to like Pein more and more and Sasori has always been a favorite in my work. 13. What would you call your writing “style”? Constantly evolving. I don't want to stay where I am, I want to get better. 14. Do you read other people’s fanfic? If so, what do you find yourself reading the most? Of course I do. Please see my list of favorite stories down below if you are looking for something. 15. Name one thing you’d love to write, but have been too afraid or shy to do. ...I don't think there is anything...I'm thinking though. Let me get back to this one, cause there has to be something...I think. 16. Do you have trouble taking criticism? Or worse yet, do you have the dreaded bloated ego? I think everyone has an ego, the sizes are just different, and mine ranges depending on what you are talking about. I'm not as proud of my work as when I was young and delusional, so I don't think I have a bloated ego. I do not find my fanfiction to be anything too special. (Although I will admit to being pretty high whenever I finish something big, like Mad House or Nightmarish,but this could be because of the weed ;) 17. When you write, is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room? Being a night person by nature, I prefer to write when it's dark outside and the house is quiet. Music inspires me so terribly much I can not really say anything more on the subject without being redundant. But if I mention a song in any of my works, I was probably listening to it when I was writing that part. 18. What inspires you? What doesn't inspire me? I love history, and fantasy, and monsters of lore and legend. I adore the difference of cultures and countries and time periods, as well as art and sometimes even science. Images and music are huge boosts to the muse bot, but most of my works look like patchwork quilts made up of the ideas I've stolen and borrowed from different authors, stories, songs, legends, and ideas that were not originally mine. 19.
