About Me

You can refer to me as Wolvefire or Crystal. I’ve been writing stories for a long time, but didn’t take it seriously until March 2004 when I won second place in a literary contest. Online, I currently only write contestshipping and some comedy stories on my fictionpress account, but that may change. I can play piano very well, and I’m not too bad on harp. Someday, I will learn guitar. I love foreign languages, and hope to learn French, Latin, and Japanese when I can. I love to draw, but I’m not the best. I draw an outfit for every one of my pokemon OCs. I love video games, especially RPGs. Games I’m currently playing: Assassin’s Creed II; LoZ: Majora’s Mask.

Where I'm From

I am from the books,

I am from dragons and gryphons,
with sharp teeth and long claws,
whose long wings are strong and without flaws.

I’m from Moogles and Nayru’s Love,
cheddar Goldfish, Mountain Dew, and Dove.
From the rabbit my brother lost to the stray,
the end of our cat at the start of the day.

Behind my hidden eyes
in memories, crystallized,
things of the lost past, unbridled,
to fly into my dreams in the night.
I am from these moments --
As these moments are from me --
a late flower from the sakura tree.

I wrote this poem a few years ago for a poem exchange. I think it explains me pretty well. I mention my cat, Snowball, who is the most amazing cat ever! She is extremely attached to me, and hates it when I’m gone more than a few hours, and follows me around a lot when I’m home. She’s eleven years old, fat, and extremely tolerant and affectionate. I can’t imagine life without pets, multiple pets, with the exception of fish. (I’d love to own a small constrictor snake one day.) That’s pretty much it about me.

Stories

I try not to post anything that isn’t completed, with the exception of Pokemon: Rose Chronicles, but once a story is complete, I will update it once a week, possibly more if it’s long. A lot of research goes into all my stories. For pokemon stories, I research individual pokemon and attacks for the appeals and battles, and the anime background history for each character. I don’t update depending on reviews. Reviews are absolutely amazing and have boosted my confidence more than I could have imagined, but they shouldn’t be the sole reason for updating a story. I write because I love writing and I know I’m good at it, not because I want to impress others and become famous or whatever, so while I adore reviews, I’ll still update even if I only have one or two. For long stories, I may update more than once a week after a predetermined amount of reviews, but will update once a week regardless. If a story has few reviews or bad reviews, I will improve it, remove it, or ignore it. Fortunately, this hasn’t happened yet.

I am working on 3 OC pokemon stories, and many fictional stories that will either become books or go onto fictionpress.

One Good Reason (& others): (FanFiction.net)- all are Contestshipping stories
One Good Reason - Drew wants May to be his partner, but she needs one good reason.
An Overdose of Happiness - In a fit of happiness, May accidentally kisses Drew.
We Are One - SwiftstarOfTheSingingWind wanted me to write a sequel to One Good Reason with the contest.
Fallen Leaves - Drew shows up while May and her pokemon are enjoying the autumn scene.
Pokemon: Rose Chronicles - I've had some requests and/or positive responses to writing a longer version of One Good Reason, so...here it is. It begins when May, Drew, and the others enter Johto/Jhoto. Multiple oneshots will be in this story, although they will be tweaked.
Currently 3 other chaptered stories in-progress, and a few half-finished oneshots.

That's about it for my stories, for now anyways. I'm also working on summaries for my OCs, so that people will know who's who. Almost all of my OCs are my friends/family/friends friends, with different names, but I also have a lot of OCs now that are completely made-up. I will post their info with their costumes when I put them on deviantArt.
I’m also creating another generation of pokemon. So far, my pokédex has 113 pokemon and introduces a new type, Light. (I tried to think of something else, but Light was the only thing I could think of.) I’m making a point of using type combos that have never been used, or are under-used, and to finish off the eeveelutions. I haven’t come up with most of the names and appearances yet, but as I do, I’ll post them on my deviantArt account. I’m also thinking about creating a new region, but I’m not sure yet.

I think it's only fair that I let anyone who wants to know, what pokemon shippings I support, tolerate, and dislike. The list of shippings I support is in order from most-less, but the list of dislikes isn't really in any order. (I was halfway through the Dislike list, when I found this website. It has more shippings than most people even care to know about.) My profile was very long, so I removed most of my descriptions of why I like/tolerate/dislike each shipping. I will never write any pairing except for the ones I support or create, unless it is one-sided.

I am preparing to move into an apartment in a place I'm currently unfamiliar with and will only have two weeks to get used to before classes start. I have been working on Chapter 11 of RC, but as it is a contest chapter and I made a lot of changes to who/what is participating in this particular contest, it's not as fast to finish, for lots of other reasons I won't bore you with. I know I apologize a bit much for my lack of weekly updates, but since weekly seems to be too much of a hassel, I'm going to attempt regular monthly updates and just update more often (with a minimum of 7 days between chapters) whenever I am prepared to do so, so hopefully each chapter will be released between 7-30 days after the last chapter.
