Author has written 27 stories for Batman Begins/Dark Knight, and Batman.

My name is Ash and I am 23 years old. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a writer. Batman is my main fandom--as silly as it may sound, I feel a bit of an emotional connection with many of the characters.

A long-time avid reader of fanfiction, I've decided to take the plunge and try my hand at writing my own stories.

I greatly appreciate any constructive criticism. While I love compliments (who doesn't?!) I can't improve without critiques. In my opinion, there is always room for improvement. Alternatively, if you wish to shower me in praise then I will gladly accept. ;)

I enjoy writing reviews, and will always remain kind when writing them, although I will give constructive criticism when I feel it is merited. I feel that people should write what makes them happy--even if it's not to my liking--but at the same time, we have a responsibility to the characters to keep our stories true to their traits and characteristics.

My Scarecrow stories will lean towards Nolanverse Scarecrow rather than his comic or animated counterpart, although his character will contain elements from both of those. This is for three reasons:

1.) While I enjoy Scarecrow's character in all forms, Cillian Murphy's portrayal of Jonathan Crane is by far my favorite.

2.) I am not as knowledgeable regarding comic-verse Scarecrow as I would like to be.

3.) Very little is known about Scarecrow in the films other than a few details, therefore I am able to "fill in the blanks".

(A note concerning my OC, Teagan James: Although Jonathan Crane is portrayed in the Batman films as someone largely unconcerned with others, I believe that he would enjoy companionship with the right person under the right circumstances.

I have tried very, very hard not to make my OC a Mary Sue. However, I am going to be completely honest and say that she may have Mary Sue tendencies. While I assure you I will not make her over the top or annoying, I cannot deny that she may have elements that other Mary Sues have. I will try to keep it in check--and will be very mindful of your critiques.)

A fair warning: due to health issues, I am not always able to update as frequently as I would like. Therefore, it may take quite a while to finish a WIP. I apologize for this but at the present there is little I can do about it. I mention this only because when there is a large gap between updates, people often inquire as to whether or not I plan on continuing the story; by adding this footnote, I hope to clear up any confusion.
