I guess the first thing you should know about me is that my name is Katie. I'm eighteen, I'm a high school gradute, and I'm headed off to college in the late summer/fall. I'm going to be majoring in journalism. I'm probably going to regret making writing my career, but at least studying it in college will be fun. I hope to get into photo journalism, or cover some kind of musical events or something.

I live on a farm. We have pretty much every farm animal you can imagine. Except for cows. I ride horses. Or at least I did, until my lovely horse decided to try to kill himself, and cut his foot up extremely badly, and is currently lame which is a horsey way of saying he's limping. and may not be back in shape in time for my last show season, at least my last show season as a 'kid'. I plan on bringing him along my second year of college though, regardless. He's an idiot, but I love him to pieces.

I play soccer too. I started when I was six, and I played for years and years, but I took the last couple of years off because we moved here, and they didn't have anywhere close by. I'm currently playing on a year 19 team, and I'm the only girl on my team and one of the only girls in the league. Playing with 15 nineteen year old guys is very interesting. And very dangerous. We're not halfway in and I have been stepped on, hit in the arm a few times, hit in the fingers, hit my head and got a concussion, been tackled, scratched my leg up like you wouldn't believe, and fallen more times than I can count. If I live through the season and it's a fairly big if then I'm going to try out for the college team. And there's honestly nothing I want more than to be able to play in college. Because even though I'm being killed out there, for some reason I really freaking love soccer.

That's basically me in a nutshell. I reallyreally love chocolate twizzlers, I spend a lot of time reading Nicholas Sparks books, I love summer and shorts and sunshine. My favorite color is electric blue, and I have a pair of converse in that color that I love. I'm always listening to music. Switchfoot, Anberlin, Paramore, Skillet and Lifehouse are my favorite. I also adore Daughtry and David Cook. I'm lame and love American Idol, especially Lee DeWyze. He's amazing. I also love LOST, though it's confusing me, and Vampire Diaries, Glee and Life Unexpected. And Chuck.

Storywise, I think Come Back To Me and Beautiful Melodies are on a hiatus. I do not have the time with soccer to be able to work on more than one story, and I think that everyone would rather see a New York Wedding than one of the other two. I promise to finish them someday, however.
