Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, and Avatar: Last Airbender.

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.

Hello there. My name is Christine (Chrissy, Chris, or B is fine; whatever floats your boat). I'm seventeen, and as Ernest Hemingway once said, "All my life I've looked at words as if I were seeing them for the very first time." In my mind, words are the ultimate tool of expression, the most readily available, and very few people truly take advantage of them. To put it simply, I aspire to be a writer, in any capacity, just to work with the things I love most in this world: words.

I'm usually always reading Harry Potter fanfiction. I adore the books, for a lot of reasons, but at the same time, the last few left a bad taste in my mouth. My best friend (a fellow fanfiction lover) and I spent a lot of time discussing the Ron/Hermione relationship versus the Harry/Hermione one, and I still feel really strongly that it should have been the latter. I have a firm belief in the idea that 'love is friendship set on fire,' and I don't truly believe that Harry and Ginny were good enough friends to end up together. One of my favorite authors on this site, chem prof, definitely explains the HHr reasoning best on his profile.

When it comes to writing my own fanfiction, I usually stick to the Lily/James pairing. My most popular (but thankfully not too popular; it might get to my head, lol) fanfic is titled Aftershock, about the first times James and Lily snog. It's written in Lily's POV, and I think it's a very typically girlish reaction. It makes people laugh, so I'm pleased with it.

My favorite fanfic of my own is I'd Never, mostly because I see it as the truce between both Lily and James. It was also rather fun to have James and Sirius play dress up. ;)

I'm currently working on my first jump into the world of writing Harry/Hermione fanfics. It's tentatively titled Summer Weather, and takes place between 6th and 7th year. It completely ignores Deathly Hallows, and is meant to be a humorous summer fun fic with a very small amount of drama. I intend to post it by the end of June, when it's five or six chapters are all finished.

My full-length Lily/James fic, Gravity, is on an indefinite hiatus. I hope to get back to it one day, when the Muses compel me to do so.

I've just started working on a new project, called Fifty-Two Spells. It's a year long project, where I will write one Harry Potter fanfic a week (either a oneshot or a chapter in a longer fic), which will end up being fifty-two pieces altogether (hence the name!). I will be posting all the fics, as well as updates on my progress, on the following page: http://www.fiftytwospells.wordpress.com
I'll also be posting them all under this FF account, if they're of high enough quality. This is all just for fun, to help me get into the swing of writing all the time. Should be fun! ;)

I've decided my first post will be on July 4th, a week from today. The last fic I uploaded was all warm-up. ;)

Favorite HP Ships:
Harry/Hermione - Like I said: Love is friendship set on fire. And there are few friendships quite like theirs.
Lily/James - Nothing would've happened if it hadn't been for them!
Ron/Luna - I'm not super-serious about this one; it just makes me laugh every time. ;)
Sirius/OC - Sirius deserved much more than he got in life. Some authors here on FF.net can put a girl in his life bright enough to eclipse all his worst moments.
Remus/OC - I still don't understand where the Tonks/Remus thing came from. But he's still my favorite werewolf, so anything with him is a treat.

Favorite HP Books:
Prisoner of Azkaban - LOVED learning about the Marauders, and Sirius, and the ending is still my favorite of all seven installments.
Order of the Phoenix - Umbridge got what she deserved; 'nuff said.

Favorite Quotes:
There is no rule on how to write. Sometimes it comes easily and perfectly; sometimes it's like drilling rock and then blasting it out with charges. - Ernest Hemingway
The good parts of a book may be only something a writer is lucky enough to overhear or it may be the wreck of his whole damn life and one is as good as the other. - Ernest Hemingway
Timing is everything. - Dan Brown

Favorite Bands:
Yellowcard - Never heard a song of theirs that I didn't like. They're all amazingly talented.
Paramore - Hayley sure can sing!

Mischief managed.
