:My Current Status (2/OCT/2009):
Sorry for still not updating anything, but I'm betting all my fic time and brain power on a new D.Gray-man fic titled 'D.Gray Turnabout'. Apart from the whole painstaking story-building process to go through, university stuff will be dragging along at my heels too so I still have no idea when it'll be ready. I hope it'll be before the end of 2009 though. Maybe I should just ask for a co-writer/beta reader for help or something... For more details on that project and my other fics, I've updated the comments for them below.

D.Gray Turnabout
Progress: In developement

(Tentative) Long Summary: (AU Fic) Allen Walker is a 15 year old defence attorney... but why? Allen's not quite sure himself but he's keen on 'saving people' so it wasn't too hard to convince him into this. However, getting Not Guilty verdicts and doing paperwork aren't the only things he's going to do while he's in town, as those who become close to him soon find out. Allen's new friends however: a detective, a freelance journalist and a prosecutor to name a few, aren't what they seem to be at first glance either. Then there is the elusive Milennium Earl and his Noahs; for what purpose are they turning people into murderers and victims?

Comments: This started out as a serious parody of the Phoenix Wright games but evolved significantly; after reading a certain manga called 'Detective Conan' the idea had expanded out of the courtroom and into the depths of mystery fiction. Apart from adapting many elements from the two aforementioned series without involving a crossover of any kind (except for maybe the odd references here and there), I'll be paralleling events from the original DGM manga, mostly for the beginning bits. In an attempt to make this one of the damn best fics I could ever write in my life, I'm going through copious amounts of research for the following:
- Japanese Law
- Crime Investigation
- Details on certain occupations
- Many miscellaneous bits of info
If anyone thinks they can help out with Japanese Law, Japanese attorneys and crime stuff, please feel free to PM me. And for the record, I've never watched CSI or any other crime show before so please don't expect too much of whatever it is that happens in those shows.

General Allen Walker?
Progress: Hiatus - plotting !! Plot idea came! Hint: 哀れな人間に、魂の救済を... (Pitiful humans, may your souls find salvation...) 26/OCT/2009

Current Summary (to be changed later): Allen Walker had fulfilled the condition to become a General. So what happens now? Starts during chapter 157 of the manga.

Comments: Because there are people who seem to like the idea, I'm not really going to drop it just yet. I'm just having a lot of trouble coming up with a plot that I'd like and can find believable based on what's happened in the manga. Originally, Allen wasn't going to be a Noah in this fic, but now that he is one in the actual series, I'll go with that. After I finish the second chapter (I've got half of it...) and a rewrite of the first, I'll announce a new title & summary and will carry out the changes when the third chapter is uploaded. 'D.Gray Turnabout' is my biggest priority though, so until that fic starts off, this one will have to wait.

Progress: Hiatus - various reasons

General Summary: Events from Allen's training years.

Comments: Frankly I'm not happy with my portrayal of the characters in this fic (serves me right for coming up with these at 2am in the morning and writing them till 5... in testing week no less) and I would have dropped this if it weren't for the fact that I have the final part to the current arc dangerously close to being finished. My current plan is to wait until I have something for D.Gray Turnabout uploaded before I rewrite the OOC bits and post the final chapter of the first story arc.

Current Story Arc:
A Troublesome Interlude - A misadventure in town when Allen was injured.

The 14th Was
Progress: Completed - oneshot

Summary: The 14th's last moments alive and some of what came before it. One-shot. Btw, baby Allen makes an apperance.

Comments: I wrote this when I should really have been studying. It's based around my unproven thoery that the 14th is really Allen Walker's father, that he had started a secret organization of some sort to carry out a plan, and was the Earl's most favourite Noah before Road. I'm kinda embaressed about writing it now because I hate being wrong - I was hoping that Allen wouldn't take the obvious route in the story but it didn't turn out as cliche as I thought. Anyway, I'm glad that there were people who liked it. Thanks!

In Oblivion's Memory
Progress: Dropped - lost interest

Summary: Before Sora, Riku and Kairi received the message from King Mickey, something happened. Everything is connected, and Sora is the heart of many of these connections. But it is through one of these connections that a place out of reach is touched.

Comments: The plotline was about Roxas facing some memories that didn't quiet fit in Castle Oblivion as well as meeting an original character who was also a Keyblade wielder during the Keyblade War. He had his Keyblade broken in half but he still can't use it. The original character was stuck in Castle Oblivion too. Can't really remember what the rest of the plot was about though.

:Where Are The Pairings??:

I'm not really interested in romance enough to write about it, but I might drop hints in my works or something. I do read from the genre though only if it's written very well. If it's good then I don't really care if it's yaoi or het, though I skim over smut/lemon/sex scenes/etc. (I'm still a prude at heart, I guess)

:Current Top 4 Mangas: Series name - Why I like it. (Most favourite character)

One Piece - This series will be an all time favourite no matter how long it's been since you've read it. It's storytelling done right with a protagonist you can depend on. (Monkey D. Luffy)

D.Gray-Man - Despite it's overall heavy atmosphere, it's done a great job of being exciting, interesting and funny where it counts. The story also has so many slight twists that every revelation can make you second guess what you think you know about it. I also love the art though it changes every so often. (Allen Walker)

Fullmetal Alchemist - A solid series that is outstanding because of it's good balance in every criteria. (Edward Elric)

Detective Conan - Sometimes it can be tedious, but the execution of the methods are so clever! The characters are very likeable and fun to watch. It's hard to put down if you like mysteries with a mix of action, suspence, romance and humour. (Kudo Shinichi/Edogawa Conan)

Special mention:Law of Ueki / Law of Ueki + - The likeable cast, the interesting abilities that they have and a simple plot with surprise twists every so often has found a special place in my heart. It's almost like a smaller version of One Piece. (Ueki Kousuke)

Pokemon - It's fun, friendly and easy to play. What more can I want? (Everyone?)

Kingdom Hearts - Everything in this series is gorgeous. I'm also loving how much Nomura can add to the story and world of the game with every installment. (Sora)

Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice/Edgeworth Investigation series - The art is good, the plots are amusing and exciting and it's interesting trying to figure out what happened. Despite saying that, I think character interaction is the best part of the game. (Phoenix Wright)

Professor Layton - The plot gets better with each installment, the puzzles are really fun to solve, the cast of characters are lovable and the music and art are very alluring. Also, I'm a sucker for it's quaint appeal. (Hershel Layton)
