Author has written 3 stories for Pokémon.

YukitheRedFox here, looking to try a hand at writing fan-fics, so if you review, please bear in mind I've only recently started writing fan-fics! I'm more used to writing original works and up until roughly September 2009, shunned fan-fics. I'm being a little more open-minded lately though and have seen some pretty awesome stories-- of particular note the 'Transformation' series by TurtlesandMonkeys and those based off of the 'Transformation' universe by JonseyCat79. 'An Eternal Legato' by NicoleVermillion is a pretty awesome tale, too. Keep on rockin', you guys!

I'll probably only be a Pokémon Fan-Fic'er-- it has such a broad base to play with and that's what I like about it. I kind of want to play my hand at trying a more gritty Pokémon tale, as well. (because we all know everything can't be as happy-go-lucky as it is in the Anime, right!?) Other series' (i.e. Final Fantasy universes, etc.) I just wouldn't feel comfortable writing about. There are plenty of other people out there who do them, anyways.

Personal

Name: Just call me Yuki! Though 'Fox' will work, too.
Gender: 'Full of secrets today, aren't we?'

Favourite Anime/Manga: Anime: Kannazuki no Miko, Lunar Legend Tsukihime // Manga: Bleach, Chobits, Love Hina, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, etc.
Favourite Games: Pokémon (main series of games), Final Fantasy series (and FFIX is made of win), Kingdom Hearts series (found new life in it with Birth By Sleep), Left4Dead (I like to run through a Zombie Apocalypse to unwind), etc.
Favourite Artists/Bands (Japanese): Arisaka Mika, Nana Mizuki, Rekka Katagiri, Utada Hikaru, etc.
Favourite Artists/Bands (English): Dragonforce, Nickelback, Bon Jovi, etc.

Consoles: DSLite, DSi, GBA(x2), PS2, PS3, PSP, XBox360 Elite, Wii, 3DS
Note: My PS3 is the 60Gig backwards-compatible version; its huge, but at least I can play my PSX/PS2 games on it! =D
Note 2: I bought Ar tonelico: Melodies of Elemia and Ar tonelico II: Melodies of Metafalica for the PS2, but had to whip out my slightly damaged PS2 to play them... gonna see if I can get the DC input jack re-soldered...

Recent Anime: Murder Princess - A great Anime that begins, develops, and concludes in a surprising 6 episodes. I'm almost sad that I've watched it all, but they did amazingly well to fit it all into such a short period of time. I'm just sad I didn't hear about it for so long...
Recently Completed:
--
Recent Music:
Xenoblade Chronicles OST - Seriously some of the best music to come out of a video game in a long while. Definitely worth a listen, and sure as hell is worth a play! (the latter being the game, that is!)
Recently Played:
Final Fantasy XIII-2 - It's okay. I do like how they've focused on the affects of paradoxes, but the structure of the game just kinda feels a little lazy. There's some stuff Square said would be there that is still absent, too.
Recently Watched: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - A fun film, and the cast work just as well as they did in the first, but overall the first one was better.
Recent Manga: Voiceful - A little disappointing; its a great concept, but is sadly barely explored. I would have loved to have read more from this title, but sadly there are only a few chapters...
Recently Read:
None So Blind by Roscuro - A great little story that has started off quite strongly; I'm looking forward to seeing out the story pans out, once Roscuro gets back into the swing of things! *has no need to talk*

Working On Now

Pokemon Tales - Chapter 7

General Update: (11th February 2012)

The day before yesterday, I was getting ready to go out when while I was putting on my shoes, I felt something dig into my finger. I thought it was a stone or something, but it turned out to be a wonderful shard of glass! So now I have a large cut down a finger on my right hand. Not to worry though, because it shouldn't-- shouldn't interfere with the upcoming Chapter...'s intended completion date. But don't be surprised if I don't end up managing to 'beat the clock'. I will try, though. I'm writing this Chapter fresh, so it shouldn't be as difficult as coming back to the partially completed Chapter 6.

~ 3am, 12th Feb. 2012 - All most recently submitted OCs have been added to the character sheet document I've been maintaining, along with who each OC belongs to, just in case I somehow end up losing things. Just in case. I've lost things in the past, so I want to keep everything together for this. Though I should probably get some sleep at some point... *yawns*

First FanFiction.Net Project

Pokémon: Cycles' End (Rating: T/M - possible strong violence, possible language use) - A mission gone horribly wrong. Five friends are separated when their simple plan to free stolen Pokémon takes an explosive turn. Injured and alone, our heroine must escape and put an end to their terror... (On-Hold - Latest: Chapter 4)
Updated to Chapter 4! Now I just need to maintain focus and get more frequent updates in...

Pokémon Tales (Rating: K+/T - I'm hoping to keep it as kid-friendly as possible) - A new world begins; Soro is now old enough to become a Pokemon Trainer in her Region of Shirei, but what does fate have in store for her and a childhood friend...? (In-Progress (Priority #1) - Latest: Chapter 6)
This was actually the VERY first piece of Fan Fiction I started working on, for a Pokemon community I am a part of. It goes by the working title "Pokemon Tales: A New Beginning" there and I'm just pending ideas on what to actually call the darn thing in the long run... nothing comes to mind! There was actually a small Prologue to this that will be remaining Community-Exclusive, but it was just something I wrote up to sort of get the feel of the story going since at the time, it had been in planning for months and some of the members had actually helped me with some of the content (i.e. characters, place names, etc.), so it was kind of a 'reward Prologue' of the night before the events in Chapter 1 and the basic design of the entire tale is your standard Pokemon story of Trainers aiming to get to the Pokemon League one day. However, I try to inject some of my own explanations for some of the things that happen in the background of the Pokemon world, so the first Chapter or so go by a little slowly...

The Region name of 'Shirei' is meant to be temporary, but now I'm thinking of actually keeping it... it does kind of sound like it would be a legitimate name for a Region...

(6th February 2012) - Currently going through Chapter 6-- though I've updated it to Chapter 6 here, I'm not confident I edited it to the best of my ability, given its been left alone for several months without writing. So please take note that Chapter 6 will probably have some upcoming tweaks in the near future. I might work on Chapter 7 first, though...

Now accepting OCs for Pokemon Tales! Hooray! Please see Chapter 5 for the form and either PM or Review it to me!

Pokémon: Virtuous Sacrifice (Rating: T) - (the following text contains spoilers for Pokemon Black & White - you have been warned) Almost a full year since Team Plasma vanished, all the sages have been imprisoned by the International Police and Ghetsis is nowhere to be found. Unova seems to be returning to normal, but will that normality last...? (In Development)
I'm not going to say a great deal about Virtuous Sacrifice, except that its an idea I've been kicking around for a while, now. Ever since I completed Pokemon Black, I've wanted to write a follow-up of events that occur several months-- almost a year after the events in the game; the protagonist (which in this fic will be the male character) has left the Unova Region seeking out N, who disappeared after the defeat of Team Plasma. With all the Sages bar Ghetsis imprisoned, the Unova Region is deemed safe, once again... but the region has threats hidden within the shadows, waiting for the most opportune time to strike...

I probably won't actually work on it properly for a while; not only do I have Tales to work on, I also need to do a lot more planning on the overall idea. Because of how broad a horizon the fact that Ghetsis got away gives us, it makes one wonder what he would do if and when he returned to strike fear in the hearts of the people of Unova once again. There are so many possibilities that I felt I needed to write a story that focused on one of these possibilities, which would likely only ever exist in fan fiction continuity. Once I've got Tales back on track, I may start doing something for Virtuous Sacrifice, if I don't decide to go and work on the, at the moment, extremely difficult to write for Cycles' End.

Pokémon: Little White Lie Presently Discontinued

This little side-project I started is presently indefinitely discontinued; I decided to remove it from my page as well, and once I get back on track with my writing, I'll probably go over it again, rewrite it, and return it to fanfiction.net. We'll see.

Future One-Shot
Pokémon: Broken Identity (Rating: T - it might contain some stuff deemed unsuitable for lower ratings...) - This is going to be the first of what I hope to be a string of One-Shots I plan to produce within the Pokémon universe that works on some of the tales spun by characters about specific Pokémon. This particular one is about half-way completed, but is suffering from the same problem that Cycles' End is; University work. So likewise, its on-hold... but I just wanted to add it to my list-of-things-to-get-done-for-fanfiction.net so that I truly commit myself to completing it. There's far too much stuff I have that's currently incomplete/on-hold... I may finish this after I get the next Chapter of Cycles' End up. One thing I underestimated about One-Shots is their ease to complete; they're just as difficult to complete as a full-length tale would be. Where you need to span the story for several Chapters with a bigger story (e.g. Nicolette7's Eternal Legato, for one), One-Shots need to have the tale completed (to some degree-- open-ended endings to One-Shots aside) within a single Chapter and you really do need to pay as much attention to it as you would a bigger story.

"Broken Identity" is another of my little experiments; this time into the world of Shorts and One-Shots, so it may be a little sketchy once posted... but hopefully that will improve, the more I write them.

Update (January 11th 2011): Broken Identity is on hold until I can actually get back into writing proper. I'll be focusing on my other fan-fiction stories for the time being, seeing as they have Chapters closer to completion than this one-shot tale.
