Contact at Kobol
by wilkins75 reviews
The scrolls tell that 13 tribes left the birthplace of humanity on Kobol, 12 went one way and the other Earth went another only to lose all contact with their cousins. It is written that one day they would reunite but when they Earth meets their cousins it is not what they expected and it would cost both sides in blood. (Stargate SG1/Battlestar Galactica)

Galactica to the Rescue
by xorial reviews
A slight revision to Battlestar Galactica to account for a different universe. The circumstances make for a slight change in what units survive the Cylon Holocaust. I've removed the whole 13th Tribe was Cylons. Instead, the Armistice is the result of Zoe Greystone's intervention. There are more humanoid models, but they are based off of Zoe.

This story started out as first contact between the Twelve Colonies of Kobol and an alien civilization when Starbuck is rescued by an alien ship after chasing a Cylon heavy raider in the orbit of a gas giant. I decided to take the story into a completely new direction and it has evolved into something a lot more complex, now containing multiple crossovers.

A different look at what happened when the Galactica arrived at Earth. The Battlestar will set in motion a series of events that will rock the foundation of not just one civilization but multiple ones. This is my first attempt at fan-fiction, but I intend to follow through on what hopefully will be a very long story, one of many that will take place in this universe.

As a ex Navy person one thing always irritated me about SG1 was having Colonels in command of spaceships, their ships they need a captain! Plus I don't like the USAF, for several reasons, I don't have the space to go into here. (for real) So, I'll just leave it there. So while we are all waiting for wilkins75 this will burn through 5 minutes.
