After being saved from the battle with Vicious, Spike is made Red Dragons leader against his will. He agrees to strike a deal between the White Tigers and the Red Dragons in return for freedom from syndicate leadership but in the process he ends up finding more about Faye's background than he expected instead. His heart clenched in his chest and he felt a new kind of terror that came from knowing little else could distract him now from what he really felt.
