A quiet story about my favorite pairing.

A minor change can drastically alter the outcome of history. This is not the story of how a band of misfits, brought together by destiny, and bound by camaraderie with a cabal of mages, defeated an ancient evil and saved two worlds. This is the story of an inn on a hill, and how one man with a sword and connections to three of the occupants turned history onto that path.

What if Naru was nicer, Mitsune was much more level-headed, and Keitaro actually seriously considered evicting the tenants? See what could've happened if the author of Love Hina had kept the originally conceived personalities and characteristics of the tenants.

Keitaro and Kitsune are college students who meet and fall in love. Along with their family and friends, they hope to make a good life together at the Hinata. Anthony had just finished reading Love Hina and, while he enjoyed the story, he was extremely frustrated by the abuse that Keitaro went through and dislikes most of the residents of Hinata Inn for it. Anthony somehow gets transported to the Love Hina universe shortly after. How will he survive in the Hinata Inn when he doesn't have immortality like Keitaro? A few OCs will appear.

This was Kana's first Love Hina fic and can be considered "written under the influence", which is way out of its canon genre. Fic description: "warning: written under a vodka hangover. A demon is unleashed upon Hinata Sou. And the tenants soon see their worst nightmares come true." Never beyond its first chapter. Originally in pre-2012 format, credit goes to author.

This story will focus mainly on Shinobu from Love Hina, but there'll be at least cameo appearances by characters from certain other media franchises, including Sailor Moon and Itazura na Kiss.
