Beta Description
Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I promise I will find everything that doesn't add up - I started beta'ing texts almost 10 years ago in primary school ;) I'm also a quite nice, honest and encouraging girl, so please don't hesitate to contact me when something's not alright. I'll always try and patch you back together.
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Spelling, and a bit of grammar. Sometimes. I go nuts when I see such evident errors or slang language somewhere in a text which isn't a dialogue or something similiar.
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Oh God.. yeah, I admit it: I tend to forget to watch the time. Whenever I'm reading something, I get lost (in a good way, of course!) and then I need a gentle reminder that it's time to move on with things.
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I'm a pathetic sucker for Hurt/Comfort stories, especially with my favourite pairings featured: House/Cameron and Woody/Jordan. But I love anything else, too... except for two things listed below.
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I won't beta anything even close to Chase/Cameron or Woody/Lu. I hate the blonde Aussie, and Lu's a b**ch for stealing the yummy, blue-eyed boyscout detective from Wisconsin. Sorry, but that's my opinion. Has been for years, to be exact. And I don't mean to be rude, but if you are a person who always confuses "your/you're" and "you/u", forget it.
