Hello! Hopefully you are on the hunt for a beta reader and hopefully I am the beta for you! To help you make the best choice - which would be me - let me tell you a bit about myself. I have a very straight style of writing. I try to keep my grammar as correct and proper as possible unless the situation calls for some personalization. As my writing style and beta-reading style do go hand-in-hand, I believe that correct grammar and good flow is essential for a great story. For any story that I beta-read, I look for a few things: the style of the author, the tone of the story, and the mood the author is trying to achieve. I then tailor my beta-reading to best serve their needs so that I don't impose my style onto them. For anyone looking to me for their beta-reader, I appreciate communication and cooperation. I cannot beta your story if I don't know what you want from me. I can simply be a spell-checker/grammar nazi or I can give you advice from my own experiences with fanfiction, fiction, and writing in general. If you would like I am willing to help with research for your story if that is what you need. However, I do need to know what you are trying to achieve with your writing. I enjoy absorbing a story and being absorbed by a story; if it's a good story, even better; if it's great, I may never want to put it away. I am good at reading the mood of a story and analyzing it objectively at the same time as enjoying it subjectively. I take into account many aspects of the story so that I can best understand the story as well as the person writing it. I am a bit of a grammar nazi as well as a human spell check. I also enjoy utilizing a wide range of vocabulary and amusing cultural references. Sarcasm is my past, present, and future and subtle - and some outright - wit and sass is always appreciated. If you want to inject some sass into your story, I will of course aim to please.

Unfortunately, I am not the best at analyzing poetry or identifying the troupes of poetic pieces but I try my best.

I enjoy reading romantic stories - fluffs and other such romance pieces - but I don't mind more serious pieces either. I love a good horror movie and everything that falls in which that genre such as mystery, suspense, and drama. I dislike reading sad stories but if a story can make me cry, I will love it forever.

I'll read practically anything but stories about Mpreg. It's just not my thing. I like slash stories and and other relationships though; just not Mpreg.
