As you know, my name is BrightLightGirl15. I am not a prolific writer on this website yet, but I hope to be soon. If you go to my profile, you can read my stories and their reviews. As you can see from those, my writing is generally admired. I would like to offer my services as a beta reader because I have noticed that many stories that would have been great except for grammar, punctuation, or spelling mistakes. Many great stories have been passed by because of this, and that is sad to me. I know that many people have great inspiration, and they just need that one first fan to encourage them to write. My strengths are grammar, punctuation, style, and flow. I am not great at spelling, but I do know how to use a dictionary, so if you have any questions I can try to find the answer. I am very well read, both in Fanfiction and in physical books.

My weaknesses are as follows: I will point out every mistake that I find without mercy, I might not be able to respond to you for a couple of days at a time, and I am long winded. If any of these things bother you, I would recommend another beta reader.

I prefer reading pretty mild stories. I enjoy the genres of romance and adventure, with maybe a little hurt/comfort thrown in. Humor is always nice.

Please do not approach me if you have written slash, angst, or anything rated M. I do not want to read about all of the gritty details of a couple's wedding night or how your villain offs his victims. Other than that, I try to be open-minded.
