Dependant on the kindness of the Crofts, could the value of a friend make a difference in the lives of two women, both suffering disappointed hopes?

Although Anne broke her engagement with Frederick, she still expects a successful Frederick will return for her eventually and so decides to take steps to prepare herself for their long-awaited future. Years later, housekeeper Anne is looking forward to her new employment at Kellynch Hall. The expected arrival of a young naval officer is sure to make one lucky woman happy beyond her wildest dreams.

Frederick Wentworth is determined to get over Anne Elliot; it been eight years after all, so he decides to start seeing Louisa Musgrove seriously. Sure, she young and they have nothing in common but it's time and she's available. It's a good solid plan which works until they go out on their official first date

A series of "Persuasion" based shorts that dig into various aspects of canon. There are a mix of modern and Regency settings, including a modern version of the Wentworth letter.

A modern Persuasion "what-if", with Anne and Frederick deciding to remain engaged the first time around, instead of breaking up, while coping with all the challenges that broke them in canon - war-induced separation, a starter income, and family disapproval. Yet, in accordance with the song "Both Sides Now", they find bliss amidst all the struggles.

Sequel to "Just an Earth-Bound Misfit, I" with a bunch of canon and diversity Easter eggs, as well as a diverse soundtrack of songs. Frederick has left the military and is making his way both to becoming Captain Wentworth and his Anne again.

A humorous modern take on the "I beg your pardon madam, this is your seat" scene in canon "Persuasion". From the same modern AU as "Can't Keep My Eyes From The Circling Sky", but with an alternative outcome that speeds things up a good deal.

At 21, Anne had everything: good friends; the promise of an exciting career; love. Then everything fell apart. 8 years later finds Anne living a life she never imagined for herself, but the arrival of her ex-love is about to shake everything up again. A modern Persuasion where Anne is a pianist and teacher while Captain Wentworth made his fortune and fame as an actor.

Yet, sadly, they face unfortunate circumstances that test them beyond their limits, young as they are, which is how they end up in Persuasion. Canon and diversity Easter Eggs abound!

This fic builds on the idea from BaymaCabo's one-shot, "Happy With Her Love". It branches off from the scenario where Anne is taken ill at the Great House, and takes a different route in which she is taken to Kellynch Hall to recover instead. As she recuperates, Captain Wentworth has some revelations that cleanse and heal his bitterness from the situation in the year six as well.

A humorous Regency parody, set in 1808. Lady Russell is in London when she comes upon a matchmaking seminar aimed at society matrons. As the instructress guides the class to rate their charges' suitors on a matrix of performance and potential, Lady Russell is in for some unexpected revelations.

Anne is sick, but of course, no one bothers to take care of her. So now she is at a dinner at the Great House, but she can't hide anything from Fredrick. As soon as he realizes that she is unwell, his love bursts forth, uncontrollable, and he is determined to get her the help that she needs.

Based solely on the movie 'Persuasion' in 2007 where Frederick's sister (and brother-in-law) never have an inkling who Anne was to Frederick.
