Valerie Martins was ready for seven pleasant months taking care of the Overlook Hotel with the Torrances. However, she soon discovers that the hotel has other plans for her stay, and it will do anything to further them.

Moving is tough. Packing up everything you own, the long drive to a secluded hotel in the mountains in the winter, and that constant feeling in the back of your mind that something isn't quite right here...
