When Double D begins to confront his trauma with Marie Kanker and her sisters, he realizes what it means to not only forgive but to love. Can the Eds make the most out of this year before time is up? In addition, as Edd and Marie bond, dark and powerful emotional secrets are revealed regarding the Kanker sisters, that could change Edds views on the girls forever.

It's now the Christmas holidays in Peach Creek, but not everything is going well. Double D ends up in the hospital, going into a coma as soon as he arrives there. His two friends are distraught when they learn from him that someone has been threatening him for a while and for them to check for things in his house that the person may have left behind as evidence... After chasing the jawbreakers, three jawbreaker-craving boys, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, see a mysterious girl falling out of the sky named Marissa who is wanted by a military agent. Now, they along with their new friends, Jake, Verity, and Tony, travel across the country to attempt to keep the magic crystal from a group of military agents while searching for a legendary floating castle.

Nearing the end of school, Double D readies himself for his life to come, but before he can graduate a long forgotten person from his past reappears and twists his path in life turning it all upside down.

Everyone's belongings mysteriously disappear. Double D interrupts his work to investigate and find the responsible for that, not knowing that said person is out of his reach, and at the same time that person is much closer than he thinks.

Double D is intelligent. Being intelligent also means having the quality and values of kindness. When Double D mentors, and comforts a young girl named Sailor, who has suffered through the tragedy of losing her parents, a friendship, and a bond is formed, and Double D learns as much from Sailor as she does from him. Double D is also older, and widowed. He forms a romance with Nazz.

College means something different to everyone. To Eddy it's a chance to party, to Double D it's a chance to expand his knowledge, and to Ed it could be the last adventure he gets to have with his two best friends. But to a certain trio of sisters, it means something much different. Is it too late for a final shot at life and maybe even at love?

Four years since the "Incident" ,the kids of the Cul-de-Sac, now teens, try to unfold the secrets roaming the sleepy town of Peach Creek, all while facing the worst problem of all, HighSchool

It's a simple balance really. The Eds do something. The Kankers come along and ruin it. Then unwanted smooching commences. But when Marie comes down with a bizarre illness, this balance is thrown out the window. Now the Eds have the advantage and everything's out of whack. But sometimes, it's in total chaos that we find the answers we seek. A Hanahaki fic. Edd x Marie. Rated T.
