Frosty the Snowman has become rather lonely ever since leaving for the North Pole. To cheer him up, Karen and her friends decide to make him a wife. But when the winter spirit Jack Frost becomes jealous of the snowman, will he allow them to be happy?

This is a collection of scenes from the first five Rankin/Bass Christmas specials, each redone with the intent of having a stronger narrative or story telling structure. Rewritten scenes are from: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Cricket on the Hearth, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus is Comin' To Town.

Another classic Rankin/Bass adaptation. A discarded magic hat brings to life the snowman that a group of children made, until a magician, Professor Hinckle, wants it back and the temperature starts to rise. Now the children must help Frosty get to the North Pole or else he will no longer be a jolly happy soul.

The Mazinsky twins and some of their friends come with them to visit the town of Evergreen where they meet some new friends such as Tommy Tinkerton, Walter Wader, and Sara Simple. While there, they also find out about the legend of a magical talking snowman by the name of Frosty who starts to make the town more happy and exciting from the pain of boring conformity.

On Christmas Eve night, an elderly Karen stays up until practically midnight, awaiting the arrival of an old friend. And when Frosty arrives, he and Karen will have a special reunion.
