Just because we aren't hearing about our old friends from Sodor right now, that doesn't mean that they aren't there anymore. Thomas the Tank Engine and the rest of his friends are back for more fun and adventure. Even with their show out of the public eye, they still have many stories to share.

"All Engines Go" is not what it makes itself out to be and its stories are truly very different. Actually, those stories are based on the adventures of some of Thomas' friends from the Mainland. Join Marcus, Kenneth, Tracy, Nathan and their friends as they ride the rails finding fun and adventure around every bend, all while pleasing Mr. Charles Nicholas Hatt, the Tall Controller.

The world has devolved into pure and utter chaos as an entire pantheon of gods fight over whether or not the world is worthy of saving or they should just start from scratch. It's in this mess that our heroes find themselves, and after having seen everything they held dear destroyed, they have to somehow keep the deities they once looked up to from doing even more damage.

There are rivers, streams, and lots of trees where the birds sing. There are windmills, and a coal mine, and docks where visitors to the island arrive. The Island also has lots and lots of railway lines. Who's that puffing down the track?

Almost everyone enjoys Halloween, even the engines on the Island of Sodor, but some of them don't care for the subject of ghosts. Lots of people and engines alike have claimed to have seen them, but whether they are real or not is one of the biggest mysteries ever. What will our friends think when they keep seeing one ghost after another?

Fred is a lazy diesel who works on the Skarloey Railway, and is well known for pretending to be ill just so he can get out of doing his work. When Rusty is away for repairs, Fred is left with no other choice but to pull the yearly weedkilling train. At the same time, Millie is tasked with an important job and keeps getting stuck in overgrown weeds, which soon leads to a disaster.

When Molly is called upon to fill in for Mavis at the china clay quarry, Bill and Ben are up to their usual tricks. After learning the error of their ways, a special bond is formed between the three. One that is beautiful.

This is another story that isn't liked or cared for very much and it's understandable. Thankfully, the events of this tale are not exactly what you have been shown or told. So, when the Dieselworks was in disrepair and there was confusion and delay across the Island of Sodor, what was done about it?
