In 2194, a war was fought between the Independent Asteroid Government of Icarus and its neighbor, the Republic of Thermopylae on the asteroid of Onicis 492. My take on how the asteroid wars mentioned in Marathon played out, canon to my mashup universe.

It doesn't take ten thousand years for the security officer's path to cross with humanity again - but his reaction to running into human soldiers is a surprise even to himself. T for swearing and canon-typical violence.

After Marathon 2, Durandal plans to seek out a rogue star traveling through the galaxy as part of his grand scheme to find the Jjaro and escape the closure of the universe. The security officer is invited along and agrees - on a couple of conditions. But before they go exploring, there's one little thing they'll have to take care of first... T for swearing/violence. COMPLETE.

Robert Blake was one of the original Tau Ceti colonists. He narrowly escaped death after being stuck aboard the Marathon when the Pfhor attacked, and then led the human forces working for Durandal on Lh'owon. All along, he had to watch as his friends were killed one by one. Now he's back on Mars again, and the UESC wants him to explain what happened.

Ca'naan is just like any other S'pht Compiler - he is a slave. His mind is not under his control: the Pfhor could make him do whatever they want him to. But now, he is going to get a first taste of what it is to be free.

Durandal's quest for Jjaro technology takes the security officer and the S'pht to a planet inhabited by an avian race - a planet that also happens to be a hot tourist destination. There are consequences. Wingfic, gen, T for swearing and slight body horror.

Three hundred years is a long to spend on a spaceship, and the humans who can't sleep their way to their destination have to entertain themselves somehow. Durandal just wishes it was actually entertaining.

When half the life-support systems are out and the temperature is dropping rapidly, desperate measures are sometimes called for. Blanketfic, sort of.

Oneshot: Binary. As in, the type of code AIs used. As in, composed of two pieces, or two parts. As in, those pieces or parts being linked. As in, pieces or parts that included Leela and the security officer she guided through the 'Marathon'. Two pieces. Two parts. And in her mind, drawing ever closer...

Infinity fix-it; maybe the security officer doesn't want to go. T for language and spoilers for Infinity, naturally.

Durandal wakes up the security officer with the news that by S'pht custom, they're married. He takes it about as well as could be expected. T for cursing and lots of it; post-Marathon 2 timeline (W'rkncacnter, what W'rkncacnter?).

Durandal doesn't mind the cursing. He does mind stupid cyborgs thinking that a productive working relationship means they've become friends. T for swearing and references to violence.

Oneshot: At the least, there's three stages to Rampancy - melancholia, anger and jealousy. As Traxus IV demonstrated, other side-effects include homicide and a tendency to quote '2001: A Space Odyssey.'
