The journey and struggle of a band of miscreant tanks, having met by chance or luck, who must bond and help one another to have any hope of survival in a very competitive world. Starting, of course, with the meeting of two tanks, who will ultimately become the founding members of an ever expanding team.

As their teams wipe out each other, two tanks get stuck with each other and have to work together in order to survive in a deadly environment.

This is a bit different from what I usually write. It's basically a dream that I had today. This time there are no sentient tanks, but it's a Hummelverse AU where tanks are operated by only one person. It's set in the early war where there was still nations fighting each other. A Jagdtiger 88 driver is in the middle of an intense battle when they have the strangest experience.

A lot happened before Arty joined the Tanking League, and this story will shed light on some of those events. (These stories are a series of bits and pieces of background stories for the characters of my main story (The Hummel Quest), so they won't make a lot of sense on their own.)
