Everyone at MI6 can see that Bond and Q are going to shag, the million-dollar question is when. MI6 employees are talented and perceptive. They were hired because they're willing to go to extreme lengths to get the job done, they're nosey, and they have no qualms about meddling with people's lives. It is the kind of environment where a betting pool could get somewhat out of hand.

In which Bond meets his teenage American daughter and she is none too pleased about it.

Kid Q (12 years old in this story) helps his uncle recover. Family fluff, h/c. Bright Star 'verse. Reading some (not all) of the other stories would help.

Ten-year-old Q hates his name and comes up with a list of aliases. Bright Star 'verse. (My 'verse has grown into a giant interconnected thing, but luckily all of the stories make sense without reading every single one of the previous ones.)
