Strut has long been bullied by his brother, Ozzy. Lately, he's been alarmed by how far Ozzy will go in his egg obsession, trying to hurt children even if they get in the way. And his efforts seem to be bringing him into danger over and over. Finally, as his brother suggests that they murder Littlefoot, Strut reaches his breaking point and stands up to his brother.

Two poison spitters sneak into the Great Valley and start causing trouble by stealing babies for food and Chomper gets blame for it. Chomper also managed to get himself captured by the poison spitters. Littlefoot must find out the truth before it is too late. I I know there are no dinosaurs who spit poison but this movie was produced by Spielberg like Jurassic Park.

When the time of rains causes flooding to occur in The Great Valley, Littlefoot and his friends are told not to go near it, especially when Ali arrives asking the adults if they can save her herd from a Sharptooth ambush. But the rain and the flood also brought in something new along with a mystery, a pod of Swimming Sharpteeth and four strangers no one even knew had arrived.
