Not long after the original Breach is sealed, Hong Kong's Shatterdome is alerted to a new threat: a Kaiju tunnel from the sky. As the Rupture looms overhead, once-dead and now rebuilt Jaegers are assembled to protect the world. However, the humans hadn't planned for what would happen if their Jaegers began assuming sentience.

Another spinoff from my Forged in Fire series. This one follows not only Herc's much-needed holiday from his duties as Marshall, but also introduces a new character that will appear later in FiF.

Now she will have to put her medical skills to the test when a Jaeger and it's pilot are found of the shore of Anchorage. Will she be able to heal the wounds Raleigh Becket suffered or will his let the hole in his heart consume him?

It seemed like a miracle to Greyson Darcy when her childhood friend came back from the dead, but when time and time again the kaiju attacks around the Pacific Rim became harder to win, it took all Rangers from the remaining Shatterdomes to defeat them. When Raleigh Becket gets called for a meeting with the UN Council, the entire operations of the PPDC get halted.

For ten years, the world has known peace. The Breach was closed, the PPDC disbanded, the Jaeger and Pacific Wall programs shelved, their heroes mourned, and their saviors celebrated. The world moved on into what it expected to be a new era. However, they would soon come to learn that their victory was nothing more than a ceasefire. SYOC Open!

The worst part may be that he doesn't see himself getting any help soon and that unfortunately, it's just something that happens after drifting with someone. So yes, it'll get even worse after they return from destroying the breach once and for all. Raleigh will need even more. or, Raleigh's experiencing the aftereffects of drifting for the first time in over five years.
