The city of Troy is falling to the Greek army, and Briseis must find a way out before it is too late. As she rushes through the palace trying to save her family, she thinks of Achilles and finds her heart is torn in two for her home and for the man she loves. Briseis POV. Achilles changes throughout the story of the Trojan War in manys ways. He became softer, more sympathetic, and realized that peace might just be more important than having your name remembered as a war hero. Briseis had a huge impact on Achilles and may have been the most important factor in his change. Before he died in Troy, he told her, "You gave me peace, in a lifetime of war."

What if Briseis had the chance to choose - Troy or Achilles? This is an AU to what happened in Troy where Patroclus was caught before Hector could kill him.
