i should be working on uni stuff but instead i read this (and the story before it) and it actually physically hurt my chest to see draco go through all those things. kudos for that pain you caused me ;)

This is probably my fifth time reading this entire fic. I love this story so much. The emotion in it is heartwrenching and Draco's own writing is captivating. The fact you have practically written two stories in one is absolutely amazing and I envy your incredible talent.

Oh. My. God. This is the best Drarry fic I have ever read (including the prequel.) Thank you so much for writing this! I nearly cried near the end when the Wild Magic scene took place for Draco. So touching, and very powerful. There was a part where I had to stop reading for a moment, which was when Draco was being beaten by the guard for the first time. Only because this was so well-written and intensely emotional. Superb, absolutely superb.

I've spent today reading both parts of this story, and I must say I really enjoyed it. the emotional imagery and the way you painted a complex portrait of a tortured draco was completely engaging. while I did feel at times so moments were overly rushed, especially the conclusion of the first part, I feel that when they are read together it makes for a bittersweet journey of recovery and redemption. Very nicely done, thank you for writing.

i got to this chapter and simply decided to stop reading-
i enjoyed the first par of this story a lot, but this part- i just cant seem to get through it- i will most likely return at one point and finish reading it, but for now i cant do it-
its not because this story is bad- its actually pretty good, i just feel like its a bit too much all over- this sequel wasnt needed at all in my opinion, that might change if i read the full thing, but yeah

This was heartbreakingly beautiful. I don't do reviews but then few fics have me feel like this and fewer have made me shed tears. I wish I could borrow Draco's eloquence to tell you how much I love this. This is perfection. Oh to be able to capture my every thought throughout this journey. I am ... ugh. Words escape me. All I can say is that this is one of the best fics ever and I am happy and honoured to have been able to read it. Thank you, very much.
