This was very good.

This story is an overall favorite of mine. The last chapter that was posted(being 15) set my expectations to a higher level. This story is very good as in how it merges the Sonic Underground universe with either the archie comics universe or the game universe(for it mentions the ark yet it mentions Sally acorn and Bunnie Rabbot). It put me in the state of not knowing what is not going to happen next, not many story's put me in that state. This was an accurate representation of the story line if it would have took this turn. A work of art I must say. I give it 4 1/2 stars. Not many story's come as close as yours did to perfection in my eyes. You fit the criteria very well my friend and I say congratulation. You would make a great author with much more practice. Keep up the good work and arrivederci my friend.
P.S- At the end of chapter 15 Ronotnick(Eggman which ever you prefer) said(While looking at a picture of sonic)"I wonder, when you find out my true plan will you fight it or condone it?".This raised my suspicion after carefully re-reading it to understand its full meaning. I came up two conclusions of what may happen in the next chapter.
1. Robotnick will trick sonic by saying that if he collects all the chaos emeralds(maybe even the master emerald which I believe in that series is called the Chaos Emerald) he could cause a chaos control big enough to go back and stop the events that transpired during the arc(I believe you made it so that they all died but only people on the arc retained there memories if their past life). Sonic at first will not agree until Robotnick brings up the fact that if he succeeds this will also bring back the Sally sonic once knew and loved. This would be where sonic makes his big choice to help Robotnick or Fight against him like always.
2. Robotnick could tell him that if he gets the seven chaos emeralds he can restore Sally's memories back and anyone else who was not on the arc in their past life. Of course this would be a trick to get sonic to help him or he would betray him that's if sonic agrees to help him(Mainly depending if sonic really wants to be back with the love of his life Sally).
Those are possible conclusions but as you are the author i can not make the desicions for you. I'm sorry for making this long but this was a story deserving a good review.

Great story. Will anyone who wasn't on the Ark like Bunnie for example gain their memories from the other world?

I really hope that the next chapter comes out soon! It's a really good story! The characters are well placed in emotions and how they would speak.

I really love how you've created Shadow's backstory for the Underground universe, and everyone's reactions to the idea of Sonic being royalty. Also, I've read fics that have Tails as a Kitsune, but have no reason for him being the only one. This is the first to explain that, and I really like the explanation.

BTW, you've reffered to pairs of the royal triplets (Sonia and Manic, Manic and Sonic or Sonic and Sonia) as twins. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's wrong...

BTW, if it makes you happy, I've read a lot of fanfics but this is the first one I've liked enough to review! XD

I forgot how much I loved this story, so at least the break was good for one thing. I got to fall in love ALL OVER AGAIN!

I'm really happy you didn't discontinue this, a lot of my unfinished favs seem to be so this was a very wonderful treat. Is it just me or is Robotnik even more obsessively creepy than he used to be. Maybe it's my mind reading too far into it, I wonder what he could possibly have planned that would let him even entertain the idea of Sonic condoning it. Which begs another question, is everyone assuming Shadow died? I might have to go back and re-read some things, because it certainly seems like that's the case. And if they DO think he's dead, I really really cannot wait for them to meet - particularly, Rouge, Sonic, and Shadow. Also, I'm willing to bet Sonia and Manic are going to be a little weirded out when Sonic and Tails have a heart-warming reunion. Because it's going to be filled with hugs and laughs, dammit! *huff* Also, I bet when Sonic sees Knux he's gonna be all like, 'I'm sorry I should've listened but I just couldn't keep lying to them' and Knuckles will be like, 'Sonic, wtf are you? I didn't do ANYthing.' And then they're all gonna wonder who they know that has red fur and they'll be like 'Shads!' Except, no one will want to say it, or even entertain the thought, because that's kinda like a raw and open wound and if they're right great! But if they're wrong the thought might just hurt too much. (I like to think Shadow's death affected Sonic more than they ever actually showed. It's part of why I didn't like the Shadow the Hedgehog game...they all just accepted he was running around no problem there was no 'oh my gawd you're alive!?' moment...I love dramatic scenes. It's a guilty pleasure.)

I think I got off track with the actual story, so there's my little bits of prediction. I love the different character portrayals too, like how the old team is fitting together without a care and still struggling to not exclude Manic and Sonia because, well firstly, their Sonic's SIBLINGS and need to be protected, but secondly because they are a very crucial symbol to resistance. And I like how Rouge and Knuckles are both trying to make their memories, both old and new, reconcile in a way that won't necessarily alienate the two. At least, Rouge seemed to do that in her interactions with Manic, Knuckles a little less so but then he's never really been one to put other's emotions up on any sort of pedestal.
