This is really good, I liked reading it! You write Nami very well, and you capture the, general emotions and fondness she has for Luffy. Thanks for sharing your writing!

| bakasaru264 chapter 1 . 3/24
Huh I thought it was Robin when I read the first line of the summary. It was kinda weird to see Nami being this... er gentle to Luffy but hey who care, I absolutely adore LuNa nakama-ship in any form and you did a fine job with this story.
| Xena Cratsy chapter 1 . 1/21
This was gorgeous!
| Noip13 chapter 1 . 1/6
I read this a while ago, and didn't think it did the excellent summary justice. But going back, I really like it now. I love how you write the straw hats- just these beautiful bonding moments that never actually happen in canon, but you can tell belong in it, because nakamaship for life. Thanks for all the wonderful stories.

Okay firstly - I want to say that I love all your stories. Your One Piece ones at least because while I am sure the stories you wrote for other fandoms are just as amazing - I haven't read so I couldn't say. But yes, I have read every single one of your One Piece fanfics and I loved them all and I'll be slowly working my way to review them all. Slowly, because I like to take my time with reviews and sadly time isn't' something I have much of at the moment.
Anyway - [fair warning as I'm sure you have seen I love to babble] - onto the review.
The way you opened the story was great. Straight to the point and just saying 'he speaks with all the authority of a king' was enough to get me grinning like a fool. Because of course he would speak like a king - he will be one soon enough. And of course he would speak that way while refusing to let someone else have his Nakama as well because there was no room for argument
And I love how you just made Nami tease the recruiter. Because it's just so Nami like and she would do that and as you have plainly pointed out - she would never just leave the crew to be on stage. And the 'and he'll never know just how good of an actress he's not getting' just screams Nami as well it was perfect really
"like some sort of wronged scholar" that is so fitting because in a way that is what Luffy is at that moment. Because if there is one thing Luffy is absolutely sure on it is that his nakama belong on his ship and here is someone he doesn't even know questioning that
"What do you do with the old ones" I can't even being how much I loved that line but I'm pretty sure I had to stop and just laugh to myself when i read it. Because it was just a question I would have never thought of but of course Luffy would because Luffy is just so simple and if they are looking for new - there must be an old - and if Nami became a new - she would become old too and he had to know what happened to the old
Luffy not understanding 'comes to an end' is just him too - because like you said people are his forever - people who he would never just toss aside because they get 'old' and people he would risk his life for because they are his nakama and they would do the same - and how he just looks at Nami to clear things up because she is Nami and she knows things and tells him what the things he doesn't understand are just screams nakama
Having the stranger bluntly belittle Luffy being what causes Nami to finally speak and expose who they are is great. Because Nami is the one who usually would want to hide and not have people recognize them so they won't get into trouble unneededly - but he was patronizing Luffy and she couldn't stand for that
And Luffy holding the card upside down is just adorable
"My god." "Not quite," I'm in love with that exchange because he isn't quite god but he will be king and he means so much more to them than some god does but most people can't seem to just understand that let alone think of why
And Nami knowing Luffy knows she wouldn't have gone but telling him anyways is sweet. Because things just have to be said anyways - you can't ever be too careful and there is no harm in making sure
"Zoro - who can get lost on the Sunny but never seems to have a problem finding Luffy in any unfamiliar town " I approve so much for this line - because really it shows their relationship so well and it's also true to everyone else 'like a magnetic pull none of them have ever thought to question and probably never will' - they didn't just not question it - they didn't even /think/ to question it because why would they when it was just so natural to them
And of course Nami doesn't have time for things that end - because she already has something that is her forever and something she will forever be a part of and of course she won't leave that for something so unimportant and unlasting
And gosh sorry again for my long rambles but yeah - in summary I really love your story a lot
