I'm not sure you were aiming for this, but I found this fic sweet. The relationship between Manji and Rin - romantic or otherwise, was well-written - the mentor to student relatioship, the ribbing back and forth between them... but what I liked the most was the part when Manji was thinking about what he was going to do when he wasn't protecting her. He didn't seem too happy at the thought of being apart from her. Great work!
