![]() ![]() ![]() Both are really great, hope to see more. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved the Nearly Complete History of Pinkamena Diane Pie. And all the rest of it too, of course. :D |

![]() ![]() ![]() This conversation is absolutely fascinating. Both characters are so well written, it's a marvel that they seem so like their televised selves considering the mature content and the critical thinking behind each and every response. The way you write is eloquent, thorough, and dare I say it, challenging to read. Not as in difficulty, but compared to so many other fictions, you don't spoon feed readers the simple fodder they're expecting to find. You give them a glimpse of a bona fide novel, and I am deeply thankful I found your work. Don't. Ever. Stop. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was hysterically and extremely well-written. They were so in-character that I could just hear them saying this XD Keep up the great work and I can't wait to hear his conversations with the other ponies, especially Rarity :3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting subject choice, and while I personally think they went around in circles a little too much, it was still a nice.. uh..character study, I suppose? I hope you post Pinkie's bit soon! That should be good! I wonder how you'll do little Miss o\Optimistic Fourth Wall breaker? Update soon please! :D |
![]() ![]() This was so funny! A little bit disturbing...but nothing REALLY happened. Discord and Twilight are some of my favorite characters! Some of their arguments were so far-fetched that I was like, UH WAT DUZ DIS HAVE TO DO WIT ANYTING. But it was really cool. I love your writing! It's so cultured and well-paced, which is a relief from others' writing...no offense to anyone... Same thing for your other fanfic, The Last Draconequus. It's amazing! I'm gonna have to read all the other fanfics now, they seem really interesting. Well, update soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loyalty doesn't break down outside of a pair-bond, it transforms into something else. Let's take veneration which is the Evil form of loyalty. Veneration comes from stasis. First you have static object relationships. Then you have veneration (blind loyalty and worship) at the pairbond level. Then you have relentlessness and high-achievement at the subcomponent level. Then you've got honour (veneration of the values you were raised with) at the submissive level. Then you've got traditionalism at the passive level. Then you've got perfectionism at the assertive level. Then you've got loyalists such as high society apologists (nowadays it's called "civil society"). Then you've got your gender warriors, natalists, nativists, and misandrists. Then you've got vigilantes and crime-fighters because the law is meant to be statically obeyed. Then you've got Superman. Then you've got The Legend. The Legend exists everywhere, for all time, remembered forever. Static, unchanged, unchangeable. The Legend is blindly venerated and rules people's minds. The Legend showcases relentlessness, honour, traditionalism, on and on. The Legend is the perfect embodiment and incarnation of Stasis. The Tree of Harmony ... it is Legendary, is it not? Well, never mind that, more important is whether it WANTS TO BE a legend. There is a similar progression which includes loyalty in it, but I only have fragments of it. The point remains, when you add multiple people to Loyalty, it becomes ... well, I think it's devotion. |
