You Matter chapter 4 . 7/14/2022 Ever since I read this series through for the first time a year ago, it has really inspired me to affect change in my habits and broaden my ambitions for the future. Harry and Archie have taught me never to limit my potential or think any challenge or goal too hard to surpass and achieve. If they can pull off the ruse at eleven years old, I can accomplish whatever I set out to do as well. So thank you Violet :) I thank you forevermore. |
You Matter chapter 1 . 7/13/2022 This so HAS brightened my day, considerably so. Thank you! :) |
Indigo Sterling chapter 7 . 6/26/2022 Mmm. Interesting chapter! Rosier is still (in my estimation thus far) a perfect creep. No one should have their boundaries intentionally (and more than that, systematically) invaded like that, even if for a "good cause", in my opinion. I don't like the idea of Draco ganging up with Rosier against Rigel in this, but I'm glad that Draco was able to get him to give up on the physical tack, at least. That was starting to actually make me angry. All that said, I trust you, dear author, and I'm very interested to see where this all goes! |
Guest chapter 14 . 6/24/2022 You know reading this the second time I found it really interesting how Rigel basically totally boned himself. For the first few times, not reporting the evidence about Wormtail being the holder of the stone made sense because it was all connected to her status as a secret halfblood. However, after she saw the dragon she could have easily reported it to Dumbledore. Just run with the same story, and mention how she saw him attempting to seemingly control the dragon, maybe mention how she had gotten hold of that poem from him by making up a story of looking through the Restricted Section for Arithmacy books and Wormtail losing that poem, and she could have easily implicated Wormtail enough that if nothing else Dumbledore and the staff would never have let him get out of their sight until they found true evidence, perhaps a propwr investigation. Of course it's not unreasonable a 3rd year wouldn't have thought that smartly about it, and I understand it is building off of characterization of being too secretive as sort of an ingrained instinct, but it is immensely interesting to consider. I suppose it might have been worth it in the end with the jewel and all, although I wouldn't wish anybody such unlikely and terror inducinf events. |
hypnoticageregression chapter 7 . 5/23/2022 Hi :) Are you a herbalist as well? I'm a Chinese Herbalist, and a lot of the minor details you include about Rigel and Archie's study of Potions and Healing very much resemble my real life practice! It's quite uncanny, even if you've obtained a reference book, because there are many schools of thought within herbalism, and you tend to choose good ones. And I am LOVING your story! I will leave you a proper review once I get to the end, but for now, thanks for writing and hope you are well! :) |
Pileofdirt1 chapter 15 . 5/3/2022 Please tell me that stupid stone gets out of her head and is destroyed and she gets her magic back? Please? Also now she can’t use her core to travel into other peoples minds Uh oh |
Pileofdirt1 chapter 10 . 5/3/2022 Oh, I just can’t wait for Rigel to realize that suppression ring is just a bad idea. Just please stop Rigel, before it all goes wrong. |
godlyvex chapter 5 . 4/30/2022 Honestly loved this set of summer chapters, this was my favorite yet. |
godlyvex chapter 4 . 4/30/2022 so last summer I expressed distaste for how the hurst family (and leo's friends) were introduced, but now that that's over with, I'd like to say that I enjoyed this set of summer chapters a great deal more than the previous ones. Everything feels purposeful, and feels like a natural progression of previous events. |
BlackMoth405 chapter 5 . 3/16/2022 “murky blue matter” lmfao I can’t believe I missed this |
Efloresco chapter 10 . 3/15/2022 Why not just tell Snape or bill that Peter has it? |
bookwormgirl88 chapter 11 . 2/18/2022 I absolutely loved this chapter. Archie, Harry and Rigel all together doing what they do best. Swapping wands was truly genius. And I loved that little bit about Pansy and Harry. I know they're young and Harry has too many things on her mind than romance, but I hope to see this flourish |
Unca Bob chapter 16 . 2/13/2022 Had to take a pause on reading this when I was about halfway through and took a while to come back, but of course as soon as I started again the story had me in it's clutches with no way out. You've really done an excellent job setting up and continuing to spin all these plates. On to book 4! |
FriendlyReviewer chapter 8 . 2/11/2022 I just started the Ambiguous Artifice and I really like the premise. However, I felt like the chapters are very long and unwieldy, and although the writing more than makes up for it, it might be a bit more easy to read. Also, the summer time was a bit long but had many events to describe so… but anyway I just reviewed to say I really like the story but the chapters could be a bit smaller. Also, I like the characterisation and blending of the two universes, so good job! |
Qoheleth chapter 11 . 1/22/2022 Dear murkybluematter: Just thought I should mention: I think Ogden means that Leonard doesn't have "a truly *violent* bone in his [body]". Even Ted Kaczynski didn't have any violet bones. Sincerely, Qoheleth |
