I really didn't expect things to get so dark but then I'd don't even know why I was surprised.
I loved what you did here and how everything ended. I knew the teacher tracker would be useful later on but I didn't expect it to save Rigel's life.

And what you did with the Dominion Jewel was also unexpected, I thought it would get destroyed by Rigel's magic but nope. This is going to get really interesting and I'm looking forward to starting the next book.
