Brunhilda is giving her daughter terrible advise, which is to cheat on her fiance and lie about it. She should instead be advising Astrid that, if she did not want to stay faithful, to be honest and back out of the arrangement the right way before she gets locked into a marriage. She should not sleep around on her fiance just because she found a man she liked.

Imagine if you had a fiance and then years later you find that they cheated on you while you were engaged. You even have kids with them. That would be crushing and demoralizing. Not only that, but that your fiance's mother encouraged them to do it, helped them, and even told them to lie about it. Wow! And what kind of stupid thinking is she having about her daughter not being black and white like her father? She SHOULD be black and white about cheating!

This is one of the most horrible things a man or woman could do to their wife or husband to be.

Someone should check Brunhilda's children to see if they all belong to her husband. She's quick to jump to cheating.

I’ve not read the sequel yet so posting on this chapter is purely “proof” that I’ve finally finished reading this story and can move onto the next be it I can handle the emotions in it. I’ll be reading that one a bit later (pfft a bit) because I can tell I need a break to actually process the story before reading another or the sequel

My jaw simply dropped when the next part about stoik was added I was likehm this doesn’t quite feel like Astrid” but i understand her little “problem” i tend to say a lot of shi to during those days haha

Wow, the sheer amount of plot development in this chapter is INSANE love it of course! And holy sh1t I could not tear my eyes away when Snotlout was dragging Astrid, that scene was INTENSE!
