I an glad you had Roy and Gilbert fight, it's more realistic and helps Anne too by giving her a clear view of their differences. It was so nice to get another Gilbert point of view too

Wow, Anne really has self reflection down by now. Good job capturing Roy's character, he is romantic but not passionate or active really, he just is awesome at going through the motions

It was nice to see Gilbert have some fun after his years of torture of the friend zone and rejection. Glad Anne isn't putting it off any longer. It's good and in character that Gilbert enjoys a mad Anne too

Hooray for Phil, she reminds me of Phoebe from Charmed, often brushed off for being silly but she can see to the heart of the matter and help others do the same. Phil was so right that love chooses you and about Anne and Gilbert being meant for each other

Yes, Anne finally has to acknowledge that she was wrong about passion. I am glad that you had her take a day to think, makes it much more in character and realistic. Her words were very romantic though

Anne is so stubborn at times, refusing to give up her childhood ideal for a chance at something great. Everything Gilbert said was true, especially the part about the looks, fondness and passion. The kiss was perfect too, expressed to Anne way more clearly than words ever did

The way you write captured my attention from the first sentence and your characters were perfectly developed and the story was just beyond amazing!
