That letter is probably the best thing that has ever been written in klaroline fics. Klaus's Feelings and how he voices them, I have no words for it. Only that hayley is apparently pregnant with hope in this Story is spoiling it. It would have been perfect without the ridiculous baby plot

Right after making love to you, I was briefly tempted to forsake my promise and use every means to persuade you to join me here in New Orleans. I have no doubt that I would have succeeded.
Pretty sure Caroline has more self-respect than to be convinced to live with Hayley of all people, watch her be pregnant with Klaus' child, watch them co-parent, see Hayley have with Klaus what Caroline never will, watch from the sidelines Klaus being a father.
The fact that Caroline so easily forgave Klaus for not telling her the truth is shocking. She would not have slept with him if she had known, and he owed her the truth in these circumstances.
Klaus now says he is not actually ready for Caroline but then says he will be ready when she comes to him. If he is not ready, then there is a chance Caroline comes to him for nothing. She certainly can't come to him now when he told her to take her time, no hurry.

Trust me that doomed magic baby died is literally the best plot I’ve ever read and you made this happen.

I’ve been anti Hope since the first moment Julie Plec made Klaus sleep with that werewolf slut. The baby the one night stand all of it have disgusted me for a decade.

poor Klaus he lost Hopesad it took Caroline an additional three months after that talk, but hey, she did go back. feels a lot wasn't said, just one word after 5 years eh? even if it held the promise of a lifetime, I honestly felt like she'd have said alot more. still this story is quite amazing. truly one of my favorites in this entire fandom.
