when i started reading this i honestly didn't have high hopes. not sure if it was the name, the bio, or just my mood. im glad i went ahead and read it. its not what i was expecting exactly but there are some aspects that i had pegged perfectly. even so it was much more a delight to read than i originally gave it credit.

This scene with Danny was so bad. It's acting the entire time like Danny is speaking to 13-15 old pre-trigger Taylor. Not the Taylor that he watched go through all the shit she went through. And Taylor stuttering and barely even able to speak in her defense? Also 13-15 old pre-trigger Taylor. It doesn't fit the idea of post GM year later Taylor . . . At least my take anyways.
And this whole "how am I supposed to keep you safe?!" is completely off. Taylor is the daughter that went and served a tour in a literal war and came back covered in medals and service records . . . then steps up and stops an armed robbery, successfully, a year after she Purple Hearts out of duty. The father does not then have a nervous breakdown about wanting and not being able to protect his _badass war vet_ daughter. Complete and total disconnect there.
Enjoyed the rest of the chapter though, thanks for writing~

Not only did Taylor grow up in an INTENSE world . . . but the shit she's been through? There's a reason certain types of soldiers can freeze people with a look. Not everyone that serves can, but it's very noticeable when you see it lol
