The Hiraishin (flying thunder god) does NOT create a yellow flash when teleporting. In fact, there has never been an occasion wherein Minato or Tobirama used the FTG to teleport that resulted in a yellow flash.
Minato was called the Yellow Flash not because the jutsu caused a bright light to appear. He was called “Yellow” because of his hair color. He was called “Flash” because of his teleportation and speed in fighting.

As ridiculous as this premise of Itachi training Naruto is, I really like the dialogue. The following dialogue is exactly something Itachi would say. This mirrors what he said to Kabuto when he was trying to get him to accept he was not Orochimaru and did not truly know himself.
