I haven't started reading yet but just based on the premise of 'Naruto wants peace' I had this urge to put out my 2 cents on it..

The greatest hypocritical detractors are the private military organizations (known as hidden /ninja villages). Because they can often act with little to no supervision from the national ruler, the daimyo of their host land. Which is because they have been allowed to become skilled andstrong enough to do pretty much whatever they want.

Another issue with ninja is that they live and enforce their own rules and laws upon everyone as if they would be the hosts to the daimyo. It's literally in their most basic of codes "no civilian is to be harmed, UNLESS it is for the good of the (villege/) mission".. which they use and abuse all day everyday. Just look at all the environment, property and life losses in the refions between The Big Five. Not to mention their incessant meddling in others' business.

Then there is lack of knowledge and clearly forced stunting of scientific /technologycal advancement in and especially out of their hidden village.

I'm not thinking only about weapons but more civvie stuff too. For weapons guns, cannons, rockets and missiles... Even in the manga we see a smudged illustration of a likely rifle in a shop .. it may be something else because Kishomoto didn't want rirearms.. but even with the argument that guns would be useless against ninja.. that's only true against those with high awareness, perception and reaction speeds enough to realize that a very high velocity chakraless kinetic projectile (that may or may not be explosive) is flying towards them at extreme speeds.. but at least 70~90% or more of those would not detect it or would not be able to react/get out of the way in time even if they are shot at right in front of them. Otherwise they would never be caught by thrown weapons far larger and noticeable than a tiny (by comparison) bullet. The only thing smaller would be the needles (senbon) but even thise could be launched easier, faster, harder more precisely from far longer distances with a contraption /seal than by hand and the MaK1 eyeball.. Sharingan or no there is a limit to vision range that biology at such siE simply cannot replicate.

For civvie stuff.. the easiest is trains. Yes it would allow safe, protected and fast transport of people and goods over great distances in a fraction of the time and costs it does without it. It would also rob The Villages at least 10% revenue but it would be good for everyone else. The only reason Snow/Spring still has it is because the others have hard time getting to it and because they have a super easy time preventing its poriferation on the mainland.
Or flight.. it would be both civvie and military. From the main story Deidara shows the best its advantage and in a filler/movie the ninjas from the sky are another great example for usefullness. Not to mention RL examples.
Just to name a few.
I am convinced they don't use it for fear of their enemies stealing and using it against them and they don't want anyone else to have it eiher. So they make sure nothing gets developed or released. It's a wonder they even have tiny portable short-medium range battery run radios, television and cameras.

On the topic of true peace.. unless everyone connects in a hivemind /-like network or everyone is under constant mindcontrol (or there's noone left in existence) it's simply impossible.

Nice fic! I liked the story, although the ending was a bit weird and Miyuki was not 'solved'.
Other than that, I lived it! It also had better grammar than a lot of other fics I've read.

Very good story, though felt like the ending was a bit too murky. Naruto never really settled down and flirted with the fiance of his friend. Not complaining. Good story.
