![]() ![]() ![]() Aww, love Anna and Marys friendship. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This first chapter was so well done. Loved it. |
![]() ![]() Cannot wait for part four. Hope you are enjoying your break. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I always thought that Sybil and Branson weren't a good couple. I thought Branson was abusive to her. I'd love to see their arguments in any fic end up being where she rejects him and they don't get together. But i have not found one yet. |
![]() ![]() My updated background certainly helped me to appreciate this chapter fully. I could visualize it so well thanks to having just seen the entire season 1. You cleverly changed Isis's name to Pharaoh. I had a smile on my face the whole time I read it. Again, you did a good job with this. Now onto, chapter 3. |
![]() ![]() Hi, Rachel. I loved your version. You did a fantastic job of incorporating some of the actual dialogue into this story. What is interesting is how the reader (me) being a great fan of Downton could so easily fill in whatever gaps there were and bring mental imagery into the reading experience. I loved this fan fiction. You did a more than admirable job with it. I would like to pass this to my dear friend, but only with your permission. Now, I have to re-watch the beginning episodes of Downton before I read chapter 2. Thank you so much. It was such a treat. Can't wait to read the rest of it. (I've had a horrible cold and that has distracted me; now I am about 80% better so I can concentrate better). Keep at this. Now you have a new follower. With smiles and gratitude, Sue |
![]() ![]() The story began to lost towards the end of part 3, it lost its sparks i guess. But keep going hope it get better soon |
![]() ![]() Looking forward to CHANGE. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I just love this story. I've read it multiple times and find that I much prefer it to DA canon. Your writing is so eloquent and intriguing, you don't just reiterate the series but introduce new character development and make the story all the more richer! Please say you still plan on publishing the last installment? I find that I'm hoping I just caught the end of a dry spell and you're ready to add part IV soon! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I really like this story, and I am most impressed by both your writing and the way you cite your sources. I think you write Mary and Mathew very well. They're as in character as possible in a rewrite of sorts. I am very impressed and look forward to continue reading. |
![]() ![]() No critiques nor suggestions, simply look forward to Chapter 40. |
![]() ![]() Looking forward to part IV, Change. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So this is my second time reading this, and augh this chapter! It's so painfully good, and you write so well. Thank you for this treat. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I absolutely LOVE this story! I am primarily a Richobel shipper (with a bit of Chelsie on the side), and I haven't read a great deal of fic lately because it's all the same old stuff regurgitated. I was looking for inspiration from a slightly different corner of the fandom and I happened upon this story ... though I don't believe there was anything random about it. I think God must have led me to it, truly. You've accomplished all the things I've ever wanted to do whilst writing DA fic: give the characters a believable story whilst staying true to who they are and portraying sex within marriage as a passionate and beautiful thing. And the way in which you've incorporated faith just makes my heart burst with happiness. Your portrayals of Isobel and Matthew in this regard are amazing and very much the way I see them. You've righted so very many canon missteps in your writing. This is the best DA fic I have ever read. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you've put into the writing and research. I'm so encouraged and inspired and I look forward to the next update! |
![]() ![]() ![]() RE read this story again, I love it, and I hope we get the next part soon :) |
