| kuromi123 chapter 16 . 3/6
They better not fudging blame Jim for that. God he can't catch a break but he's got McCoy and Gaila there to help him and back him up. XD
| L. Burke chapter 13 . 3/6
No wonder Jim and Spock were such a scary pair during diplomatic meetings? Jim being able to read lips and Spock’s Vulcan hearing there would be NO conversation in the room they’d miss. :)
LOL! I can only imagine what Uhura’s reaction to that particular skill is going to be. I really can’t wait to see Jim and Uhura interacting as President and treasurer of their club. That’s going to be a howl.
| L. Burke chapter 16 . 3/6
LOL! Why do I get the feeling that with Gaila in the mix the next three years are going to consist of Bones blushing whole lot. I think Gaila is going to enjoy tormenting Bones and watching him blush almost as much as Jim enjoys yanking on Uhura's ponytail. ;)
I actually thought that Bones played it exactly right here. He made quite clear his line and boundaries here. And Jim's going to find out quick enough that yelling is Bones default setting. That a quiet Bones is the one you need to worry about. :)

Well that's not good. Finnegan I mean... update soon!

WHAT?! He's dead? Oh I can't wait for more.
| Diamondblue4 chapter 16 . 3/5
Loved this chapter! Lovely, charming Gaila and her tea party? Priceless! No wonder Jim was sorry to see her go. (And, by the way, Bones, pay close attention. Jim speaking Orion was just the first hint of that genius brain that hides beneath deep water.)
Glad to see Jim is better. But now I'm worried that Finnegan's death will mean that Jim is at risk in the hospital. There are so many ways to kill a patient and make it look like natural causes...or complications to an injury or surgical procedure. Thank goodness Bones is around to be a guardian angel.
And I'm loving the deepening friendship between Jim and Bones. Nice to see them beginning to let the other in beneath the surface personas. Giggled over the caramel pudding but, hey, who doesn't love caramel?
Thanks for another great chapter and glad to know you are on the mend!
| AthanasiaElpis chapter 16 . 3/5
What?! What? What. Wha... What? Okay... Now you have to update again, because confusion is not nice. that was a really great chapter, though, I'm really starting to LOVE your Gaila. You took an epic character and made her even more epic, and I love it. Thanks for the update!
| Grayson Steele chapter 16 . 3/5
First and foremost, I'm glad Blob is playing nice again and that you are well and truly back in good form as evidenced by this chapter. McCoy in full on irritated doctor mode would have caught Jim completely by surprise and caused him to rethink his perception of Bones. By this point, he's pretty sure he can trust him, but given his background Jim wouldn't trust anybody completely. The fact that in this situation Bones has power over him regardless of Bones' past behavior has to bother Jim. I think you do an incredible job making of McCoy's growing friendship with Jim believable. I love McCoy's intuitive understanding and compassion which leads to a need to protect Jim even from Jim's own impulsive and occasionally self destructive nature.
| Guest chapter 16 . 3/5
Well, that was a twist at the end... Loved relating Bones to a grumpy raincloud of death. :( I couldn't help picturing Grumpy Bear (Care Bear). Cute!
