And just imagine when Victorian-male-John (well, presumably male; I realize that, this being all first person, we don't really know John's gender. but then, this WAS the Victorian era and no woman in the Vic era would galvanize about the way John does) realizes that it was actually alternate-him that caught alternate-Sherlock's eye. lol.
And it's just amusing how much more … uptight they were back then. Asking for pictures being "disclosing his private details," wow.
