I think that Bella being in that bathroom, at the perfect time, was priceless. Sucked to hear it first hand for Bella, and I'm also thinking that once the rumor starts, she'll be the one blamed for spreading it. However, for Jane to see that Bella was in that room . . . effing priceless! I'm glad that Edward finally acknowledged the elephant in the room. Somebody had to. His responding with, 'It's a start.', was fantastic.

Awwww, so glad she had her mom to hold her and let her cry. I hope that her mom knows exactly what happened and not the rumors of it all. Her parents must feel betrayed as well, as it was hinted at that they liked him. And, Bella and Jane had been friends since kindergarten. Bella's lack of concentration standing near Edward was very entertaining. She miss d everything that Mrs. Cope said, lol.

The nerve of Jane to try to apologize . . . what a joke. For every reason Bella stated to her, Jane should know that apology would mean nothing. Edward has no idea how broken Bella is. No idea how much she wants him, yet needs to fix herself first. I hope he's a patient young man.

Why do people cheat? If you don't want the person your are with any longer, just leave. The fact that her best friend did this to her, is worse than the boyfriend, if you ask me. She knows every intimate detail. She knew the reason why she was waiting. She knew she gave him her virginity and yet, she still spreads her own legs for her best friends boyfriend. What a bitch. Yes, they deserve each other. I just hope that one or the other gets their own heart hurt very badly. It isn't fair that they are so happy together, at the expense of Bella. Edward was quite smiley over Bella being there. I wonder how Bella will feel?

Ha! The very rare Alec no Jane . . . I was close but, not even close at the same time. I'm glad she caught them in the middle of it. And, I'm glad she didn't just walk away and not say anything. Confronting them instead. Good for her. It may be time for her to seek some counseling. She did nothing wrong but, trust her best friend and boyfriend. Not sure she'll get over it without some professional help of some sort. I'm glad she stopped the kiss. Wonder what will happen when she walks into work and realizes whom she'll be working with. Eek!

Well, he's already backing away from her since the last weekend . . . the weekend she was looking forward to, as her parents would be gone. I guess he got what he wanted and started to leave her. Asshole. Alice was so very excited for this party. I love that she already met Jasper, so quickly. And, that he seems equally interested in her. Bella found a sanctuary from the party goers. Books, music, tall attractive . . . hmmm, I wonder who that could be? A KISS? Holy crap! I didn't see that coming, at all! He moved quick . . . I think that may have been entirely too quick for the state she's in right now. Baby steps need to be taken. Eek!

Wow, she let him in, even after he said that to her. The tone of what he said was worse. Basically to me, the older reader, not the teenager she was, knows he's only making nice with her so all those months are not wasted. So he gets his 'prize'. I really hope she found out, before she gave that away. However, I'm also hoping that she's not a virgin either. I really like Alice and her energy. I hope Bella stays sober, so that she isn't hung over, I'd hate for her to lose the job she wanted so badly, before she even starts it.

Even if you didn't end this chapter with, '. . . you'll be working with Edward.', I suddenly guessed who her best friend back in Jacksonville was. Leah and the ex was Jake. Or, she was Jessica and it was Mike. I can see where the new relationships will be bumpy, too. She is already a little leary of Alice, yet wanting to open up. Edward will be a much harder sell to her. She's not anywhere near ready and he's going to be far more attractive the Jake/Mike. I'm hooked already though. I'm new to your writing and I really like it already. :)

Wow, pregnancy rumors? That would explain why he stayed and she left. I'd run away as well. He cheated and then got her pregnant, to boot. Great guy there. Yikes!

Wait, now I'm confused. They broke up because they were going to be separated, correct? Then she finds out he's staying after all, so she leaves? Do I have that right? She planned on staying and he was leaving. Now he stayed and I'm guessing it was because of the new girl in his life? Therefore, Bella went away to Chicago. So confused.

I don't even know which character I'm reading yet and my heart breaks for them. Why would the old flame bring the new flame to their old spot. That's awful.

So good. I loved every word of it.
